First impressions were that it looks like a great toy for it’s price point!You can play 8 songs and 4 genres to choose from.My 2 years old sister loves this toy (even though the recommended age is 3-6). That being said, I really feel this toy’s target age group should be lowered to years 2-4 anyway - I can’t imagine it would keep a 6 year old entertained for very long!After a while the songs seem to get repetitive with there being only 8. However, this is still better than the one song included in A LOT of similar products which ends up driving everyone crazy (people reading this with kids or little siblings will be able to relate 😂).Also the lights are great; they’re surprisingly bright and colourful!Microphone isn’t the best though and you have to put it right up to your mouth for it to work. The sound isn’t too loud either, but I personally think it’s a good volume for a toy like this though - wouldn’t want it too loud.Overall, this is a brilliant interactive toy with lots to do and have fun with. My little sisters happy so I’m happy! 😁

This is a Bright colourful Fun interactive music toy for toddlers and preschoolers i think up to 4 would be the age i recommend it for as 6 wouldnt be impressed at all.The songs are not nursery rhymes but original songs, with various styles of genre all in a child friendly level.You can also use another mode to record voices but it seems to speed voice up,but it had us laughing.Its quite chunky and robust.The microphone you have to hold close to your mouth and the volume isnt that loud .my daughters fav bit is the lights its very bright and flashy

I Gave this to a 2and a half year old who loves to sing. He and his big sister imitate those TV singing competitions and she has a real microphone. Now he can join in too, he can even record his own voice singing or talking that can be played back, (like a sampling track) to the pre recorded songs built in. The songs are all new to us and needed learning. That wasn’t a problem the jukebox was played with repeatedly in the first few weeks, to the point of driving us crazy. Ha ha. Now everyone knows the words and we can all join in. It is not difficult to use for toddlers as it has plenty of buttons and lights and lots of noise. For 3 to 4 year olds they can easily records themselves without help. Fortunately it has a volume controlThis is a sturdy well made toy that will last for years. I see it being a favourite.Worth the £20 selling priceLastly, I like that the talking voice has a British accent not American, like so many other toy brands.

My child open this for Xmas we tried to play with it but wouldn't work. When went to put new batteries in notice ones supplies had corroded and even with replace with new will not work as its now damaged.We had a very upset child.Would be good if could speak with someone to arrange a return and replacement.

There is a toy in our local playground that my kids love. You turn the wheel and then speak into it. Moments later your voice plays all distorted. The 'Chicco Songy the Singer Musical Toy' lets you do this in your own house. It is simple to understand, just press the record button and talk into the microphone, it then plays the distorted sound back to you.Although this the most popular element in my house, 'Songy' has more going for it than mimicry. There are original songs that you can play. They take a little getting to know, but you will eventually find that they are ear worms and you can sing along. The entire thing is colourful and chunky, making it very easy for a child to play by themselves. It is aimed at the 3-6 market, but its simple nature means that it suits more the 2-4. I know that my 15-month year old has been drawn to it constantly due to the lights and ease that the buttons can be pressed. This is a high quality toy that my children love, just get it for someone a little younger than it suggests.

Great fun for kids, battery life last a good amount of time. Could maybe do with more features with the microphone but for your kids they will love it.

bought this for a birthday present sound doesn't play I can't open it as it's a birthday present but since it's not been used it should play and looking at the reviews doesn't look gd...edit opened put new batteries and still not working
