Does the job.
I'd say this is more of a 'kang' than a china cymbal. It generates an accent of white noise with a brief trashy decay and then it's gone. If you want a longer, more explosive china sound, I'd recommend an 18' or 16' minimum. I'm using this in gospel/rock/folk type music . . . and as long as I don't over use it; it adds some nice dynamic accents. It is quite a loud sound and though the drums are miked, but usually without overheads;this cymbal still cuts through. Again for the price, this is an amazing deal. Because of its smaller size, I can sit this under the corner of my ride cymbal. When I do use overheads with this setup, this cymbal doesn't wreck the mix.

For only twelve bucks, fabulous deal!
Let's face it, China Boys sound like garbage can lids with a little more sustain. This sounds as good as any and it's hard to see how they can make money selling them so cheap. You can go on and on about the exotic resonance of a finely crafted Turkish cymbal constructed of secret bronze formulas handed down by generations but a chinas still gonna sound like a garbage can and if you spend $100 for something you can get for $13 you're not a discriminating professional you're a foolish snob in my opinion. I have several Wuhan cymbals now, along with some Sabians and Paistes and some very old vintage Zildjians. I like them all, they all have different sounds and uses and I smack 'em all with a wooden stick. Okay it was $12.99 just a few months ago, now its $28, still a steal! This little 12" is louder than my 19" china.

Great sound, not much endurance
I've used this cymbal for years --- the only problem with the cymbal is that you get what you pay for. It commonly cracks. I've had a replacement rate of about a year. And I am NOT a hard hitter. It is the only cymbal I have with this issue. Still, nothing else makes that sound! Otherwise, it would get 5 stars. This cymbal itself is a special effect china with a marvelous quick punchy and bright sound. But be warned that it will eventually crack. But for $35 or whatever, that's definitely worth replacing it once a year. Good news is, you can keep them and use them for special FX sounds, stack them, or drill holes in them.

WUHAN 12" China " Lion" Cymbals
I Love these 12" China Lion Cymbals ! I bought two of them and play them as they were originally meant to be played, by the handles . The name "China Lion Cymbals" comes from the " Chinese Lion Dance " in which they imitate the sound of a roaring Lion ! I use expanded techniques in my musical creations and find the 12" China Cymbals a never ending avenue for traveling to the depths of my sonic imagination .

Quality sound from a low-priced china
In the drumming world, Wuhan cymbals lie in a grey area of quality. From what I've researched, there isn't strict quality control in their production, therefore you need to sift through many to get a decent sounding one.....I lucked out purchasing this online without previewing it.....because it was cheap...however I am impressed with the sound I got. It's has a nice sharp attack and relatively quick decay, more so if you tighten it a little with felts. It sounds very clear, which is pretty surprising since most cheap cymbals/chinas sound like you're smacking an aluminum garbage can lid with a baseball bat. The only problem I have with this particular model is the center cup (as opposed to a bell shape) which makes it difficult to use on a wingnut-type cymbal lock because of its fairly small diameter. I've been using it sparingly with my country rock band, but it would probably be a more useful tool with something like progressive rock. Still, it fits in nicely with any music as long as you use it in context of your playing. Don't be one of those 1st grader types that like to hit a piece of percussion over and over again just because it's new and unique. Overall I'm very satisfied in the short-term with this cymbal. I'll have to see in long-term if it thins out prematurely or if any cracks begin to appear. I have pretty disciplined cymbal striking technique so hopefully I'll see it last. The only thing I recommend (which I was guilty of) is going to a music store and trying them out in person. I lucked out this time online, but could have easily gotten a really horrible sounding one just the same.

Trashy, but surprisingly musical
This cymbal has a very bright, sharp attack and quick decay. Its sound is distinctive and jumps right out of the mix in my recordings. I liken it to a higher pitched version of the distinctive cymbal sound in King Crimson's "One More Red Nightmare." Although the build quality on Wuhan's can be inconsistent, mine has been rock solid - no cracks or deformations, despite being used heavily and hit awfully hard. At this price, it's a steal.

depends on what you like
The price was so good I took a chance. The tone was not a high crisp "splashy" tone like I hoped, more of a deeper bell like sound lower than Zildan ZBT high hat if that is helpful. It looks good & seems durable. If a deeper tone is what you want this may be just right. Warning I am just a "for fun" drummer so check out the real drummers' advice on this before you buy!

Good quality and great seller
Excellent for its size, dark and trashy. Seller; "Mugan Music Group", great shipping and packaging for protecting cymbals from ship damage. Good timely shipping, received only 6 days after ordering, taken in account this also included a three day weekend. So with out that, probably would have been 3-4 days. Recommend purchase, not the best china's, but for the price, much better for a band/hobbyist on a budget. Wont last as long as the "Big three" Zil Sab Pai, but at 20-30 per year or so, it's affordable. And great seller to boot. Go for it!!!...

Excellent
Excellent. Great value for money and, even though delivered from USA, it arrived a week earlier than expected.

Great Cymbal.
A very nice cymbal as compared to it's price. Nice Decay and trashy sound. stand on expectation cymbal, but the price is quite high on Amazon. The product's original price is too low but I can see a price hike of Rs.2000/- on this product in a single day, I bought it for Rs. 5833/- from Amazon itself on 2nd June 2018 and it was delivered on 28th June 2018, as the product was very superb, I tried to order another piece of the same product but it is showing Rs.7238/- now which is surprisingly more then a 16" china cymbal. Amazon should think about the need and ability of their customers and fix the price accordingly. Again, price manipulation in consideration to the demand and sale of the product is not a fair game.

Love the sound
Wuhan cymbal's sounds are unique, I never found that harshness and punchiness in another china cymbal. For metal songs, that cymbal is amazing. Also if stacked with another cymbal sounds even more punchy.
