Turkey Tail Mushroom Powder

I pretty much add it to most of my food in varying amounts. It’s a great addition to creamy pasta dishes. In lower amounts it doesn’t impact flavor too much but the benefits are there. It’s good to thicken soup and sauces with meaning, if you know what I mean. I add it to my chicken noodle soup and more. You can boost nutritional value and health benefits easily with this great tasting turkey tail powder.

I didn’t realize this was powder when I ordered it. I thought it was a chew, but it is still easy enough. I just take a pinch and sprinkle on my dog’s food. I have it on auto-renew.

If you are into mushroom supplements, Om powders are great. I lace my morning coffee with Turkey Tail, cordyceps, reishi, and lions mane. They do leave some sediment in the bottom, but that comes out with the second cup. I’ve noticed my acid reflux has disappeared since adding Turkey tail. Placebo effect? Maybe. But I’m happy with the result. I like the included long handled serving sized scoops included in the larger bags.

Bought to boost our immune systems and help our bodies receive a healthy dose of the amazing nutrition from turkey tail. We aren’t combating cancer or anything of that sort so I can’t speak to that. I find the flavor to be very intensely mushroom and earthy. I have tried 1tsp in a cup of broth and find it too strong and doesn’t dissolve well, but settles to the bottom of the bowl/cup. Added 2tsp to each persons soup bowl and no one noticed the difference except me, so it is likely just my tastebuds being overly sensitive.

Started adding this to my other health supplements about two weeks ago after reading testimonials about immune system improvement. I feel that my stamina has slightly improved, and intend to continue buying it just based on what the possible medical benefits may be. This is a good deal for a 100% organic product, and will last you just over three months taking 1 scoop a day. The scoop size is small, and it mixes well (many supplements don't). I would characterize the taste as slightly mushroom and slightly a dull taste, reminiscent of when I ate a dirt clod as a child. Don't let that scare you though, since it is neither a good nor bad taste. Add it to something and you probably won't even notice it. The plastic scoop has two small support ribs on the back that like to catch powder in between them. For people who store their scoops in the container - to avoid a small mess I recommend holding it over the container and flicking it with your finger a couple times before using the scoop. I can't say if or when the FDA will have a conclusion on the possibility that Turkey Tail does counteract certain cancers, but I'm confident enough in the current research to say that I don't have anything to lose trying it.
