Great Sound Quality on an Old Time Radio Favorite
The audio CD case with the disc enclosed arrived undamaged and in a timely manner. The sound clarity is terrific when listening to this old (1948) radio program. Thanks for bringing back the memories of enjoying these comedy classics.

Some of the best of the Bickersons
This is some of the best of the Battling Bickersons with Don Ameche and Frances Langford. Some of my favorite lines:"You turn up your nose at my rhubarb pie." "Who ever heard of a pie two feet long?" "Well, they didn't have any shorter rhubarb.""You don't open the car door for me anymore." "Well, I slow down, don't I"

A visionary, if edgy, brainchild
Imagine the serious talent, vision, creativity and depth of perception that it takes to convert a sad, angry thing like spousal arguments into an engaging comic form. What these 2 artists accomplished built a distinctive niche in a hotly competitive time, and redefined our collective concept of comedy. They deftly walk the tightrope between building of tension and its release, between grounding their routines in reality to give them credibility vs. taking off from there to keep their act and their audience more comfortably in the realm of the surreal. This CD is unusually generous in its quantity of material, and I got a good few belly laughs from it, though their frequency was notably less than when I first heard similar material in its original time.

Fun and funny old time radio
I love the Bickersons...it is a fun cd to take in the car for a long ride. I've also played it for my grandkids (ages 12,,14,,and older. on rides in the car. They also enjoyed it. So I guess it's for all ages

A bit dated but very funny.
This is two people acting like a married couple. She's a nagging wife and he loves his booze and hates the cat. This bits are from the 60's but some are still classic today. Both of then were at the top of their game when they did this album. If you have been married for awhile some of this may strick home.

The Fighting Bickersons
This album is funny and excellent. It may be considered a one trick pony but its good. Listen to him insist that nothing happed between he and his ex girlfriend gloria goosby whenever she brought her up only to inadvertinly contradict himself. Listen to her complain about his snoring to the point that she constantly demands him to get surgery for it which he refuses to do. I thought it was funny at the end when she went over his head and made the appointment for it behind his back. As i said this album is funny and excellent. You should get it.
