I wrote a review in 2015 and am updating now!
I absolutely LOVE these and this is the 7th I have bought! No... I have never thrown any away, they are still all being used, except the two I just purchased prior to updating. I do some catering, teach cooking classes, etc., so have two 7 quart crockpots, and 1 larger size, but got a larger size bag for that one. I also have two smaller crockpots stored in a 4th bag. The rest I have bought for gifts. These travel so well and are so easy to carry. If something does spill inside, which is rare because I use crockpot liners and they can be raised up to go over top of the lid while traveling, and the inside Velcro straps can hold down the edges of the crockpot liners to keep them from slipping down,... it does contain the spill. I have actually... set my crockpot in the bottom of the carrier with the lid laying back, to keep it plugged in for 30 or so minutes before I unplug and close the liner lid and carry them to my car, and so far, none of them have melted. I am quite sure that is not recommended, but in a hurry I have done this! I am purchasing these two for prizes in my cooking class, as my clients have asked me where I got mine. NOTE: I can see some crockpots that are 7 quart, have wider handles on them that you can put your fingers through to carry. Mine have the short, solid handles, so make sure you check to see what kind yours is, or they won't fit these bags. They DO sell larger bags for those! --Hamilton Beach Travel Case & Carrier Insulated Bag for 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 Quart Slow Cookers (33002), is what I bought for my larger crockpot.

This is the best thing I've bought in a long time!
This has serious changed my life. Sounds stupid that a Crock Pot bag could make me this happy, but I find myself constantly making soups and stews for PTO events (bake sale/grab and go lunch fundraiser, teacher appreciation luncheons, etc.) and work potlucks, and getting 2-4 crock pots full of already heated food out of my house, into the car, into the school/work- oh my gosh, it was a nightmare! Even with the upgraded crock pots that lock down for easy storage, those things are hot to the touch and hard to carry. This bag is amazing. After reading reviews, I chose to stay with the Crock Pot brand when I got a new one, as Hamilton Beach doesn't seem to fit this bag. I use both the 6 quart oblong type, and the older style traditional circular one. The both fit perfectly in this. There is a strap sewn into the bottom that you place the crock on top of, then you bring the straps up the sides of the crock, threading them through the handles and over the top. There is a removable top piece that fits perfectly over any type of crock handle, and the straps feed through the sides of this top piece, then back down the side of the crock using very secure Velcro. I wish they provided a better internal picture of this - I was SO pleasantly surprised when I used it for the first time. Even with crocks that don't have secured lids, the straps keep it pretty tight! Just don't spin it in circles and you should be good to go. And if there is any spillage, it's super easy cleaning with a wet sponge, then air dry. Now I can carry two crocks at once because of the handles, and I'm not burning myself and getting hot stew all over! Seriously - if you do any amount of moving hot food in crock pots, get this product!

Buy it, don't use it exactly as advertised, and you'll enjoy it!
The only reason I don't give this product 5 stars is the construction seems a bit cheap and I don't trust the handles to carry it around - seems as though the bag will tear. That said, I bought this for less than $10 on sale and it is worth every penny whether or not you take your Crock-Pot on walkabout. If your Crock-Pot always stays in, you can't ask for a better dust cover. If you use 3 times a week or 3 times a year, once you've washed up your Crock-Pot and stowed it in this bag it will remain nice a clean until the next use. I live in the real world in a home built in the 1940's with limited cupboard space so this small appliance is stored on top of a cupboard in the laundry room. Always in pristine ready to use condition when I pull it down. It may seem silly, but I'm inclined to use it even more frequently since I don't have to wash it before and after. If your Crock-Pot goes on the road with you, this travel bag features a really nifty interior velcro strap that secures the lid nice and tightly before you zip the bag shut. It's also insulated to keep your food a little warmer while travelling. Again, I don't trust the handles. I recommend one hand on the bottom of the bag (or both) and one on the handles - whichever is easiest for you. Overall, this is a well thought out and designed product. The cost savings are reflected in the quality of materials the chose.

Actually, works FINE for Hamilton Beach!!!
Don't know what trouble the previous reviewer had, but I've used this bag with the Hamilton Beach Stay-n-Go unit for almost 5 years and had no problems whatsoever. It's a tight fit, but it works absolutely fine. Have taken the two together to over 20 work or church potlucks during that time. Have purchased for friends, too, who've also had no trouble. For $10 it's an incredibly wonderful convenience. I love the Stay-n-Go but would NEVER purchase one WITHOUT THIS BAG!!!! Give it a try: I think you'll be glad to have it. Note: Previous reviewers are right that you have to be careful to lift the filled bag by BOTH HANDLES together. If you try to lift it by just one, or if you drop one by mistake and end up unintentionally holding it by just one, the bag will definitely rip. I ripped one the fourth or fifth time I used it, replaced the bag, have been careful to keep both handles together ever since, and have had no further troubles at all. Happy travelling, everyone!

Very nice carrier
For the first time I did not have to cook Thanksgiving dinner, however I was taking my famous green beans to my daughters a half an hour away. I decided I would use my crock pot to transport the beans. It dawned on me 3 days before Thanksgiving I needed something to carry the crock pot safely there. I went all over town looking for a carrier, no one had anything at all. I thought of Amazon, but thought I was really cutting it close. I really had no choice, so I ordered this one, it came the day before Thanksgiving and I could not be happier. It worked great, is very sturdy, has a strap inside to secure the pot, and is lined with a waterproof liner that is like a thermal lining. It was perfect. Thanks to the reviewers I got a good deal as well as a good crock pot carrier.

love this travel bag!
I'm so glad I bought the Crock-Pot SCBAG travel bag! When I bought the travel bag and showed it to my wife, she said what do we need this for... Well the first time she used it she was hooked. It's a breeze to carry the crock pot with one hand with the carrying handles. The crock pot fits snug in the bag. So the crock pot won't slip and slide around inside the bag. I would only use a travel crock pot with a locking lid to be on the safe side. You wouldn't want your chili to spill on the inside if the lid came off. The bag is insulated. So it will help keep your food warmer longer when traveling. And it also fits other crock pots as well. As long as they are a oval crock pot. The Crock-Pot SCBAG is a winner in my book!

Smart product, a staple if you bring food to parties!
This travel bag fits my Farberware model 104554 6 quart slow cooker perfectly. I really like the strap that holds the cooker in place inside the bag. It is adjustable to fit different models. Taking hot meals to church & school events & parties is so easy now. I don't have to worry about making a mess in the car. It zips all the way around which makes putting the cooker inside & removing it easy. The straps attach on the underside & come around, so it feels substantial, like they can handle the weight of 6 quarts of chilli. I know it will not pull where were the straps attach to the bag like they would if they were attached on the top or sides. This product is so smart, must have designed by a woman!
