Works wonderful
Our new glass cooktop stove came with some Weiman cleaner, a small bottle that didn't last long. I bought this to compare directly to it - and it works significantly better. The scrub pads seem to be about the same, they clean scratch free no problem. This cleaner seems to need less passes and less elbow grease to perform the same cleaning shine as Weiman's product. This kit includes 5 cleaning pads, and a scraper. It's just a standard razor blade scraper, nothing special. I was apprehensive about using it at first, as it was a brand new 1000$ stove, I did not want to scratch the surface. However, after using the scraper probably 20x it has yet to leave a single scratch! It works great to get off burnt on liquids or food that had spilled over.I usually throw some Cerama Bryte cleaner down, hit it with the scraper, throw some more cleaner down if needed, then scrub with pad.I definitely recommend this product to anyone with a glass cooktop cleaner - this will keep it looking great and brand new!

One Of Those Rare Items That Simply Works As Claimed
This is a report on five years of using this product:Summary: It works incredibly well and I am on the same bottle despite using it a couple of times a week..Detail: We moved into a new home in early 2010. It had a stove with a ceramic top (Not by choice, we'd much prefer gas)Naturally, we needed something to clean the stove top as just one dinner can leave a greasy spattered mess all over the place. I hit Amazon and found this stuff. I've been using it at least once a week ever since. In the simplest way, it just works. It works well, it is easy to use and it is economical. I am quite literally still using the same bottle I bought back then. The included scrubbing pad long since wore out but as it is rarely needed, I haven't replaced it.A quarter-sized drop of the liquid onto a cool stove top and a couple of paper towels and a small bit of elbow grease and two minutes later, the top looks like it was never used. This stuff sucks up grease splatters like you wold not believe. Anything other than hard-baked on crud just comes up.It is so rare to find a product that actually works as well as advertised and does exactly what it says these days that I am in awe of this company and I hope they continue to make this stuff as long as there's a need.It needs no improvements or enhancements. It just works and works economically and works every time. I can think of maybe two or three other things in my buying lifetime that have pleased me as much as this stove top cleaner does.Oh, be sure and give the bottle a good shake before you use it. That's about as hard as it gets in using this cleaner. ;) And sometimes a bit of crud dries around the lid like old ketchup and flakes off when you open the lid. That's about the only flaw I can find. :)

Keeps Your Cooktop Gleaming!
Recently our old broken down nuclear reactor of a stove died, we had a small but dignified service for it and with great delight went appliance shopping.I knew the cooktops were difficult to clean but the aesthetic is so much better than the exposed coil burners we didn't hesitate to buy one. We figured it couldn't be that bad, after all think of all those poor folks locked in kitchens done in stainless who are forever trying to get rid of finger prints.Friends with cook tops told me not to bother looking for any other cleaning products and that Cerama would prove indispensable - they were spot on. In fact the stove came with a small sample bottle and sponge and both my spouse and I (we each love to cook and are prone to spilling virtually anything and everything) found it a life saver. The little sample didn't last long but long enough for me to know I better stock up and fast. As industrial sized, self dispensing and self cleaning versions of Cerama aren't available I was happy to find this kit on Amazon which had everything we needed at a great price. You get a big 28 ounce bottle of the famed cooktop cleaning elixir, 5 nice sized reusable sponges and a handy little scraper and all work beautifully. The cook top looks great as in brand new great and cleaning isn't arduous at all, it's a bit like waxing a tiny car and a little elbow grease goes a long way as far as getting sparkling results.Definitely a must have for anyone with a ceramic cooktop.

An All-in-one package for cleaning your ceramic cooktop
Make sure you keep that scraper around. Thank thing alone is worth the price of the whole package. I like this stuff, I usually spray the top with a household surface cleaner (Method to be exact) to get loose, excess grime off the stove, then I hit it with the scraper to get off the tough gunk and grime. Then I spray with the surface cleaner again to get the shaved off excess from the scraper. I do a quick look over to see if there are any other tough spots I might have missed (If I did, I go back to the scraper). If it looks pretty good, then I use cleaner, I drop about a dime sized blob on each "heating element" or whatever you call it, then rub it in with a paper towel in a circular motion. Once I get a nice coat on there I get another paper towel and wipe it completely off. I feel like it leaves a good, clean, shiny finish. My wife thinks it makes the surface greasy, I disagree, but if she thinks it makes it feel greasy then maybe others will have a similar opinion, hence the 4 instead of 5 stars.
