JDC Motorcycle Helmet Tinted Visor - PRISM - Visor Black

I am very pleased with the quality of this helmet and for the price I feel it is very good value.I purchased the gloss black medium Prism. Initially I thought it might be too small, but after a few hours use I find it very comfortable. So far it has only been summer use, but the air vents seem to work well and compliment the overall design.The visor operation is very good and hopefully the opening settings will remain firm with use. The mechanics of the visor adjustment can be seen, which is seldom the case with more expensive helmets, but this in my opinion doesnt detract from the overal excellent aesthetics of the helmet.The delivery time was excellent. I would highly recommend this helmet...good value for money.The chin strap fastening is both simple and effective.

My old Full Face helmet was beginning to come apart at the seems and it's protection rating somewhat reduced accordingly. Buying a replacement online without being able try it on first was a bit worrying. However when it arrived all was good, a bit tight to begin with especially around the cheeks but that was to be expected. Having taken it out a few times it's now ideal. The visor mechanism is still a bit stiff at the moment but that will loosen up with use. Well constructed and excellent value motorcycle helmet.

Ok, bought one, loved it, bought another for my girl. Almost the perfect helmet for the price. Fab release system, Visor works really well. Wasn't sure if it was up or down at one point whilst riding, very clear. Great way to detach all the lining on poppers, so you can wash it. Which brings me to the only downside. Not terminal, but annoying. The chemical smell is actually quite overpowering. I have no idea what the substance is, but it is really nasty smelling. I removed the lining and washed what I could get at and it improved, but I will air this for some time before regular use. Without that it is 5 star, so perhaps the Company themselves can shed light on why it is quite so bad, or was it just the two I bought? I might try febreezing it, too. Although it seems quite entrenched in the helmet.

Perfectly adequate and the hi viz is great to see me coming! The visor is a bit draughty so wear a snood or if on longer journeys pay more for a tight sealed visor. I used the measure guide and ordered accordingly, it’s the perfect fit, yes it is snug but that’s a proper fit as the padding will break down over time, and you don’t want it moving when you turn you head. Very good value

It's a brilliant piece of less expensive engineering & safety for all, fits perfectly I have a large head but not too big or too small, advise checking size scale with tape measure, white is the light! Give stars, great advertising page & details too... Ta.

Starting with the positives its a low cost road legal helmet and I found the field of view very good and has good ventilation.The downside is that there is a wind whistle while riding even with the vents closed and although the size was correct for my head I was a bit concerned how close the chin guard was.Obviously this is a budget helmet so there is no built-in sun-visor here.If you want a spare helmet for occasionally sticking a friend on the back of your bike this would probably do but if its your main helmet maybe consider other options.

Purchased this helmet after reading the reviews and I wasnt disappointed when it arrived. For the price it is amazing quality and looks great!Unfortunately for me the helmet was too tight. I measured at 58cm and ordered a medium. The booklet that comes with the helmet does state that it will be tight at first until broken in, however I was unable to put my glasses on and I felt pressure on the sides of my head.I have what I would describe as a long oval head and following the Internets advice ordered an LS2 Rapid medium. It's £10 more but having arrived today found instant comfort when wearing it.If you have a round or intermediate 57cm-58cm head then I'd happily recommend this helmet for being budget friendly and good quality. Wasn't suitable for my head, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be for abother riders.

Hi allI don't know much about motorcycle helmets, but for the price, I was amazed at the quality, design, materials and comfortableness of the helmet, nice black slick design, comes in a bag to keep the helmet clean etc, really pleased.
