GOLDEN FIELD 0837 PC Power Button Supply Switch Computer Case Reset HDD Button Switch 1.6m

I have a six-year old computer that I use in the mornings to track some secondary data. After upgrading some of the internals, the front panel buttons got fouled up & no longer function properly. Start-up could only be achieved shorting the pins with a screwdriver - not a long-term solution. The Golden Field power button was a great solution. It's well made & easy to install. Unlike what a previous reviewer said, the plugs are very clearly marked.Turns out there's an added bonus. The computer is situated under a table & a bit out of the way (inconvenient for reaching the pins to short them). The new button's cable is the perfect length to sit within easy reach on my desktop. I may add a second button & install on my main computer.

The power button on my aging (~16 years) Thermaltake case turned out to be the culprit of my PC randomly booting up on its own, or turning off without warning. I had to disconnect it, and was powering on with the button built onto my motherboard, since I haven't been able to find a replacement to snap into the original hole in my case. I stumbled on this by accident and decided it would be the perfect solution. No more reaching into my case! Now the button is stuck directly onto the edge of the desk within easy reach. The LED's work fine, and the colors even match my system. What more could you want for the price of a Star*ucks coffee?

THIS WAS A GREAT PURCHASE. MY COMPUTER WAS NOT ABLE TO TURN ON BECAUSE SWITCH WAS BAD . PURCHASE SWITCH OPEN UP COMPUTER REMOVED OLD SWITCH AND INSTALL THIS NEW SWITCH. DIDNT WORK PROPERLY DUE TO MY ERROR OF NOT CONNECTING ALL THE WIRES PROPERLY/SECURELY. AFTER RECHECK IT POWERED ON MY COMPUTER. LOVE THAT BLUE LIGHT LOOK. GREAT PRODUCT. SAVE ME FROM BUYIG A NEW DESKTOP

This button really came in handy! I had to move my computer around to fit in our small apartment and the only way it fits is if I tuck it under my desk. Problem is, I can't reach the power button without getting on my hands and knees. This button remedied that!

Ready to use. I plugged it into the motherboard on board power prongs and the button works flawlessly. My case power switch broke, so I bought this. Works great.
