Magic Chef MCSTCW16S4 Stainless Steel 1.6 Cu. Ft. Compact Top-Load Washer

This is the perfect solution especially if you're doing laundry for one. I even have a washer hookup in my home but I have been going to the laundromat for years and I'm so over it. I looked at cheap dual tub units trying to save money, but I finally chose this Magic Chef unit because it was on sale after Christmas with a payment plan and it was the only portable and fully automatic washer with temperature control and hot/cold inlets that would fit my existing hot and cold washer faucets and drain, and it fits perfectly in my laundry closet. It's super quiet and sleek looking, I did four medium loads in one afternoon and was looking for stuff to wash. And your clothes will dry in no time, just hang them near the heater or a fan while you run a cycle and they'll be dry. I may use the extra spin cycle on my towels which I'm waiting to do. Buy this machine if you're on the fence, it's so worth it! UPDATED 1/23/20: Still happy with my purchase! I dont have any laundry left to do in the house now, clothes go straight into the washer during the week and I wash a load on the weekend! I did have to buy a grounded appliance extension cord because the closest outlet was just out of reach. And I unplug it and turn off the water inlets when not in use. I washed bulky towels and sheets in hot water and saw very little shaking during the spin cycle. I am still learning the best way to make my towels softer without a dryer, testing vinegar and baking soda combos and adding a half cup of vinegar as it fills has worked best so far. And I bought some clothes pins and door hanger hooks and a couple extension rods from Family $ to hang dry inside when its too cold outside. It's great!

There is a piece broken. It fell out of the box when I opened it up. It , I don't think, has any functional position so I'm not too concerned. I'm very happy with this washer!! Actually tickled pink! I'm a senior citizen, alone, female, and I was able to wheel it into my laundry room, read the manual, and hook it up all by myself. It works wonderfully. So many water levels, temperature settings, etc. I really like the extra rinse cycle. It has two lines , one for hot, one for cold. It is aesthetically pleasing as well. Great value, great brand. I would buy it again.

Item was delivered fast, but also with a huge dent in the front of my $330 purchase. NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT. Needed to purchase longer hoses. All in all works good 8/10 has good load size which I was worried about. Looks good as well.

The washer it's was fine However it was not the stainless steel model and the packaging was compromised the bottom packing was broken and a piece cracked. The overall product seems fine for now but have not been able to use since the model switch requires some changes on my end. It would have been great to get installation as a part of the purchase so this part could have been worked out. Final rating on hold for now. Overall disappointed but hopeful.

the pandemic had us looking for options to keep our. outside contact to a minimum. This shipped with prime and got to us super fast and it worked like a dream the first 3 times but then started squeaking and eventually stopped spinning all over the course of a month or two. granted it was washing the clothes of 2 people but that's not particularly taxing my wife's clothes takes up no space and only heavy items were jeans. Amazon support came through and we will be trying a different model.

I have this for my apartment. It has lasted several years. I highly recommend it.

Very impressed with this unit, a lot larger than I thought it would be, looks great. Worked perfect right out of the box, easy to set up. Tried the vivohome one first, did not work on arival, cheaply made so for only 20.00 more got this one and its a night and day difference in quality.

It was good to me I think so I just didn’t like how it shake at time cause the balance was off and you couldn’t put to many clothes in there because it would throw the balance off but I think it was a pretty cool portable washer to me I love the blackest of it and I loved the see thru glass window over all it was a kinda good washer
