Curt says this unit fits a 2014 CRV. Amazon says it does not. Does Amazon know more that the manufacturer.

I ordered this part and confirmed that IT DOES NOT FIT FOR MY 2014 HONDA CRV EX. The reason is that the included 4 bolts do not match the tread on the car. I sent the part to a shop and the mechanics confirmed my theory. I called Amazon customer service and requested a contact to the vendor to get this issue resolved. The bolts do not fit for the holes on the car.

Is this welded to the cr v frame?

I installed in on my 2014 crv.... it bolts right up to the frame... however you have to remove the plastic shield covering the rear end of the underside of the car.... then cut a rectangular opening in it to accept the hitch... ... it takes an hour with 2 people under the car (holding it up and bolting at same time.) now drills, no tapping, no welding) however you probably should use car ramps to get the rear of the car off the ground so you can crawl under.

Does the package include all the hardware to attach it to the frame?

Gary - yes, it comes with all the hardware and instructions necessary to attach the hitch to the frame. Additionally, it took about 30 minutes to install with a socket wrench.
