This camera was bought for an upcoming skiing trip and has been used a few times since purchasing for fun and testing purposes. I was initially impressed with what the camera could do, with a healthy list of features and good specs to give users plenty of options when out in the field using the camera. It does take 4k quality photos with video to match, and even though it'll not do 4k at high FPS, for the average person this really wont matter! I enjoyed using the slow-mo modes to take fun little videos as well as some great action shots with the remote control, and in the end it really isn't any trouble to use once you get the hang of it. I'm sure people may complain about the stabilisation and maybe the build quality being lower (the camera itself isn't waterproof), but the number of accessories that come bundled with the camera offers an amazing level of mounting options, plus it comes with a waterproof case! While it can't record audio through the case this is a great accessory to include right off the bat and for the price point I really couldn't ask for anything more! If you're in need to a nice action camera with some bonus features, this is a really nice option. Highly recommended!

I have used similar - but basic - types of camera in the past but in comparison this has very high quality definition at 4K/60 fps . Obviously, good quality, high definition is a primary requirement of any camera and this is supplemented by the added convenience features of touch screen, voice control and wi-fi. An additional bonus is the comprehensive accessories included in the package such as the waterproof housing, various mounts, a remote control, plus a second battery. All-in-all an outstanding package of kit which I am very pleased with and looking forward to using for many years to come. The kit does not include an SD card, which is left to the user to choose in terms of capacity and performance. I have opted to go with a high specification SanDisk Extreme Pro 128GB - the maximum capacity - which again I have sourced from Amazon at a very good price.

Great value for what you get. The 4K/60fps looks sharp and smooth. Overall, it’s a solid, easy-to-use action camera that delivers quality footage without the premium price , I’m very happy with it.

We bought this camera for taking 'live' on-stage footage at events. We use a Panasonic GH5S as a "run and gun" camera to get close-ups, and footage in crowd. The Akaso will be fixed to lighting truss to provide an A-camera view of the lead singer. The quality of 4k 30 fps footage is excellent, particularly if there's plenty of light. We'd have loved the option to change settings to 25 fps as that's the frame rate our content is delivered in, and we're a bit worried about getting flicker if shooting anywhere near those wretched fairly lights. But that's a very minor gripe. One other slight negative is that the 4k 60p is not quite as crisp, at least in low light, at the 4k 30p. We'll report back if we're able to coax slightly better images out of it once we've had the opportunity to test it in a 'live' environment. The fact that it shoots in 4k means we can zoom in to correct for any framing issues or simply to get a bit closer to the action whilst still keeping the camera well out of sight. The footage is crisp and clear and, whilst it's not of course quite up to the standard of the GH5S, it perfectible use-able and, after some colour grading, certainly doesn't stand out as being noticeably different from the rest of the footage we use. That's saying something really as it's about 1/30 of the price of the Panasonic and lens combination. The menu is simple to operate and most of the functions are clear if you've any camera experience. We found the touch-scree a little sluggish, particularly when swiping up and down, but generally, since this is a 'set up once and forget', that not going to cause us any problems. The camera works with or without a battery (i.e. you can power it all day long from a USB power pack) and with a 128 GB card we were able to get a full evenings footage, by just leaving it running. It does separate the file into smaller chunks (normal for this kind of camera) so you may need to do a bit of stitching together if you want to put out a really long clip. Once we've put it through it's paces a little more thoroughly, we'll be buying a few more of these to position around the stage as fixed cameras. One star deducted as no 25 fps and the slight drop in quality in low light for 4k 60p. But overall, a great product at an amazing price.

La cámara no se puede comparar con otras de gama alta, pero es que teniendo en cuenta todos los accesorios que trae, su precio supone la cuarta parte de lo que cuestan otras cámaras. La calidad de imagen con buena luz es fantástica, incluso bajo el agua. Sí que es cierto que en condiciones de poca luz ya se nota bastante ruido, pero a ver que cámara deportiva hace milagros en ese aspecto teniendo en cuenta el tamaño de los sensores que poseen. El mando a distancia funciona bien, la app del móvil a través del wifi también. El estabilizador trabaja increíblemente (aunque hay que tener en cuenta que recorta la imagen). Las baterías no duran mucho, algo así como una hora pero vienen dos unidades que puedes alternar y cargar con una powerbank, o bien conectarla ésta directamente a la cámara. Hay cosillas por pulir como la pantalla táctil que no va muy fina y hay que pillarle el truco o el bloqueo de la cámara algunas veces, algo que sólo se soluciona sacando la batería. Sobre estos aspectos he hablado con la compañía y me han asegurado que están trabajando en un nuevo firmware para solucionarlo. Si hay algo que no me gusta es la calidad de las fotos que hace, con cualquier smartphone vas a sacar mejores imágenes, aunque siendo realistas no creo que nadie quiera una cámara de acción de estas carácteristicas para fotografiar... En definitiva me parece una cámara con una relación calidad-precio increíble, perfecta como primera cámara de este tipo o para todo aquel que no desee gastar más dinero. Sin duda merece la pena.

pas décus de ce produit par rapport au prix,la cam est livrée compléte avec tout les accéssoires nécessaires.testé sur mon casque de moto en off road,la qualité d'image est bonne,autonomie satisfaisante.Ce n'est pas pour faire du long métrage non plus.Pas encore utilisé dans l'eau,a voir mais le caisson étanche est de bonne qualité.La télécommande es pratique avec le braçelet montre,bien grand qui permet de le mettre par dessus le blouson et donc bien accessible.Je recommande ce produit pour le prix.

Le riprese in acqua sono stupende anche con poca luminosità, la qualità delle immagini straordinaria. Ho fatto riprese a 2,7k-30fps (per gestione file più comoda) con risultati veramente eccellenti, riprodotte su tv 65" sono assolutamente perfette, nitidissime. Provata fino a 25m senza avere nessun problema. La batteria dura moltissimo, coprendo senza problemi la durata di tre immersioni ed avendo ancora abbondante carica. Facile da usare e da impostare. Le foto sono buone solo con alta luminosità, cosa normale per le action cam. Comuqnue facilissimo il passaggio da video a foto e viceversa. Allego un video in snorkeling ampiamente ridotto con video compressor a 1280x720.
