Accessible read covering a broad range of engineering devices. Doesn't go deeply into any particular area/ field but does tend to drop in the required formulae! Excellent value for money.

This is avery good book for students interested in the design of mechanical devices and machines.Could do with a few more appendicies on material properties and deflection formulae.It is very good value for money.Poor availability is putting me off recommending it as a textbook for my students.
