When this little tin arrived, it looked like something a classic barber would use. Simple, sturdy, with a cool pig logo (Reuzel means lard in Dutch, apparently – a fun, if slightly unsettling, fact). The pomade inside is a solid white wax.Using it is straightforward. Scoop a little out, warm it up in your hands, and apply. It goes in smoothly, no tugging or pulling. And the hold! My hair immediately stood to attention. It was like I'd built a tiny, flexible skyscraper on my head. It stayed exactly where I put it, defying gravity and the occasional gust of wind. This stuff is not messing around.The "Matte" finish is perfect – no greasy shine, just a natural look that says, "Yes, my hair is perfectly styled, and no, I didn't use half a can of product." We've been fans of Reuzel for nearly 2 years when looking for additional beard balms to the existing ones we own. Although the cannister is meant for your hair (on your head), my husband and I accidentally purchased it and used it on our beards not realizing it was for the head on your head. Not using semantics and hyperbole, but "isn't hair, hair...lol?" Regardless, it works on our beards, wonderfully (we are bald)! It has a medium hold for short beards and stable hold for long beards (see photo)!Obviously, meant for styling your hair (again on your head, not to sound redundant...lol), it's equally great for styling your beard!

Always fast shipping and amazing product

A historic brand like Reuzel is what I use for my pomade. I have a side part pomp/combover and I really enjoy using this pomade. A little bit goes a long way and the hold is excellent. More important is that it washed out really easy. A great buy!

I've used many products from American Crew to Bed Head to Tea tree and Reuzel concrete is by far my favorite. It has a very nice sweet scent. It's pretty easy to wash off and it has probably the best hold of any of the products I've used. I've got some thick black asian hair and it has no issues getting it where it needs to be. I feel that the price point is fair given the quality of the product. I also haven't noticed any sort of irritation or issues with my hair or scalp and I've been using it for several years now.Highlights- great scent- high hold- good price pointLowlights- can get sticky if you touch your hair after application (you shouldn't really need to touch your hair)

I’ve been looking for a “high hold low shine” for a while and this meets all my criteria:-hair stays roughly in place all day, but can be re-styled-isn’t crunchy/ crusty (unless you put it in when hair is too wet, in which case you can rustle it up and knock the starch out)-I don’t get a lot of “strays,” some other products will have random loose hairs in front that seem to lose their place halfway through the dayNot a huge fan of the smell (smells almost exactly like Pez candy to me, if you can recall that) but the smell fades quickly. Overall a winner

I really like this stuff. My hair isn't great, but this helps me style it, and it stays all day. Definitely worth it.
