Cheap but I think I'll keep them.
A little cheaper looking than expected but I went ahead and put them in my herb garden. The cord to the solar is nice and long. The only problem is I cannot tell if I turned them on or off? The panel has to be on to charge, but there's no way to tell which is on. I guess I'll find out tonight!

Great buy
Love these lights! I have them draped across my fence and enjoy them every night. They hold an average charge. They have several different functions, including blinking and on all the time.

WON"T. STOP. HIDEOUS. BLINKING.
When you purchase solar lights, are you hoping to recreate the tacky, desperate ambiance of a seedy, run-down honky-tonk town circa 1950? If so, these lights are for you! I strung these lights about a month ago, and already had to take them down and throw them in the garbage because--even though I try to set it on the nice, steady, non-blinking mode--the lights all revert to hideous, hideous blinking whenever it rains or there is a strong wind. This is the fourth year I've put up lights (I've always used a different kind before--the regular, white-colored round bulbs) and I've never had this problem--I've been able to string them up once and then have nice, pretty, steady lights the entire spring/summer/fall season. Not this year with these lights. For the lights I have right outside, this defect in the product is moderately annoying, but for the ones I string up on a high clothesline over my yard where I don't have access to the mode switch, this is really infuriating, because I don't have the time to spend un-stringing and then re-stringing lights every time it rains. It's so embarrassing--I've felt like such a horrible neighbor subjecting my neighborhood to a tacky light show for a few days until I have an hour to spend taking them down. In addition, out of the four strands of lights I bought, one strand is noticeably dimmer (even though it's in the same area as the rest and presumably receives the same amount of sunlight). So I wouldn't recommend these particular lights to anyone. But in general, if any solar light manufacturers are reading this, I have two requests/suggestions: 1) For the love of god, can someone offer lights that don't have the blinking option? Seriously, aside from maybe high school seniors throwing a party, who wants tacky blinking lights in their backyards? NO ONE!!! 2) Can any manufacturer create solar lights with a clear on/off button (and/or "mode" button if you really insist on making people have the blinking mode)? It really is annoying to have to press a button and then wonder whether you've pressed it on or off. That would be awesome! Thank you.

Works but wires become brittle and break
Bought four sets. They all worked well and looked nice for a few months. However, wires became brittle and broke easily after a typical upland South winter (i.e. rarely below 25 and only for a few days). We went to move them / reposition them a bit and the wires broke. One set broke at the solar panel without even trying to move them - wires simply broke only due to temperature. Maybe in milder climates (mid to lower Southern US, Southwest and Southern West Coast.
