HO Scale Model Train Display Case Cabinet Wall Rack w/98% UV Protection- Lockable -Black

This is a beautiful piece of furniture and perfect for my HOn3 models. It came very well packaged to avoid any shipping damage. I not only like the construction, the finish, and the dimensions, but the lip on the shelves is an added feature. I'm adding HOn3 track and a painted background to help visualize the rolling stock under working conditions. When we move I will no longer have a layout, so my rolling stock will fill this case.I purchased a 2 foot by 4 foot display shelving unit. It was apparently made by a company that makes rustic furniture. To say the least, it was very rustic. It was twice as heavy as this case without any plexiglass or hardware. There were crude saw marks, etc. It was packaged for shipping very poorly. I took a skill saw to it and dumped it into the trash. What a waste of money!

This display case is the perfect size for displaying your coveted trains. If you have a lot of trains to display, get several. It’s better than one huge one. This case can hold a lot of trains and looks very nice on our wall.It was easy to hang (comes with anchors… we usually use our own anchors that we get from Lowe’s). It even has a lock and key.Well as our collection grows, we will be purchasing more of these displays!

I really like this cabinet for my model railroad locomotives and rolling stock. This is my second cabinet from this manufacturer and I really like them.

First off, build quality seems very good. Nice finish, solidly constructed. A few minor annoyances - the hanging system is not great. This thing is pretty heavy, and getting screw heads in the slots is quite difficult. And, I question whether hanging by one screw in a stud and one in wallboard with an anchor is enough. I ended up putting an extra screw through the back into another stud. Also, the shelves are just ever too narrow to accommodate standard HO track with rolling stock, at least without having to tip things slightly to the side. Otherwise though this is a nice cabinet and seems like a good value in comparison to a lot of display cases out there.

These are great display cases! I bought one a year ago, and it was so nice that I bought another one a year later. The second one was damaged in shipping, and the seller worked diligently with the shipper and I to replace it. Maybe I'll buy another one next year!

Very nicely made. No, it’s no heirloom quality, but for $150 you cannot expect that. We did contact a local carpenter for an estimate on dado joints plus router grooves in the shelves and it was about $1,000.00.36” HO flex-track fills the shelves perfectly. We will clear hot-glue the tracks, mount the case, then the beer reefer collection. Why hot-glue? Because it is doubtful that the shelves could withstand even a tack hammer.Caution, if you plan to display heavy engines do so on the bottom shelf only. The upper shelves will not support that weight.

I did not want to hang it on the wall, so I found here on Amazon a table top LED TV stand that works perfectly. I can display it on a table, or any Event. You can ask me how and what stand I used as many will not work.
