Worked second try. All videos and other instructions didn't seem to work. Took me 2 minutes vs 1 hour on the wired sensor I ended up returning.The sensor I have is working great. Rain sensor tested perfect. Wind shut the awning as expected. One cool thing is that the sensor does display real time sun strength and wind speed which helps with adjusting the settings.Only down side on this is there is not enough gap in the sun settings open and close. A cloud will cause it to shut.

This product is very frustrating as the instructions are either poorly written or the product is weak. It takes multiple tries and a lot of luck to get the units to pair. If you can get them to pair it seems to work fine. I could not get this unit to pair so I returned it.

Seems to work as described. Although the procedure for pairing it with my ALEKO sunshade was not in-line with the instructions.I had to press the ‘P2’ button on my remote twice for one second, and then the ‘P2’ button on the wind sensor twice for one second, then it paired.The method described in the instructions simply did not work, no matter how many times I tried.

Does the job perfectly. The audio tones it makes when being programmed could be louder. Instructions for programming are unintelligible. Better interpretation of instructions can be found at a website from Belgium of all places. Phone center assistance is good.

See the picture? Instructions are written in English, but the kind of English that doe not make sense. In no way shape or for are these instructions of any help. The device itself is handsome and looks great. But it does not help if it doesn’t work. Useless.Instruction quality = zero stars.Easy to install= 5 stars. It mounts with two screws. Not hard.Sturdiness= 1 stars, but wouldn’t really know because I will not install it without programming it properly. It just seems well built. Looks good

I must admit after you read between the lines of the instructions Pairing and the sensor adjustments were no problem, however I chose not to use the sun sensor because I did not want it extending on its own when nobody is present. I would recommend this sensor.

Did not work.

The instructions were very hard to understand. We had 3 people try to install it. We had to call the company and spent an hour on the phone trying to get it set up. We did finally and it worked 5 days flawlessly then malfunctioned during a gust of wind. It went out instead of staying in and stripped our awning motor. The company was nice enough to replace the motor.
