Why is this product specified as "baking" macadamias? Is it because they are irregular/broken pieces?

I think they're specified as baking nuts because they're unsalted and have some broken pieces, however I found them to be mostly whole nuts of consistently average size. The nuts were fresh, tasty and a great price. Will buy again.

Do you ship your macadamia nuts to the US mainland?

They do, but be careful, they could get affected by heat during transit and then the nuts are no longer good.

What are the ingredients?

Sorry, but this was a gift for another person. However, these nuts have always been appreciated in the past.

They may be hot and the covering melted if bought in the summery

Very Tasty - It was June, and mine were delivered to the mailbox. By the time I got them out, they were warm, and the candy coating was melty. They were very good, but sticky. The next bag was one big clump when we opened it, since the candy on it had also melted, but now it's not sticky.

Great taste!

Probably one of the more innovative treats coming from Hawaii nowadays. Reminds me of when butter-toffee macadamia nuts first came out. Nicely crunchy. A little bit on the sweet side but still nicely done.

Awful rancid Hamakua macadamia nuts

My expiration date is 7/26. I just opened the bag and they taste rancid. They also look rather suboptimal. I’ll never buy them again.

Bought 1 bag - delicious...2nd bag - horrible and stale

The first bag was really delicious, so I ordered a second which were completely stale and strangely chewy. Not worth the risk of getting a bad bag in my opinion. I'm visiting this macadamia nut plantation next month and will tell them so...

I bought 1, then 2...

Great size bag for the money & by far better than the big name brands of macadamia nuts on the market. I like my nuts salted & these are but the good news is they're not overly salted! I'm sure you've all had nuts that bring the salt hard & can lead to crazy thirst &/or burnt lips! These are a great salty snack. They're healthy, they're yummy, ALWAYS fresh, good quantity & great flavor. These are delicious & these have been my my to now for almost a year. I plan on continue to buy only these for my macadamia cravings & the price for what you get is just a much as what you'd pay for a little jar of too salted nuts that don't taste half as fresh. They also come in a resealable pouch & you can't ask for better. HONESTLY if you're not buying these you're missing out!
