Depends on what you get
I bought 2 of these, as I was hoping to alleviate sewer backflow. The first was amazing, easy to install. The second leaked at every point it could. It was frustrating and messy. So, 1 yay! And 2, NO!

Cheap and flimsy
This flimsy thing leaked as soon as I put it on. It had a hole at the tail end of it. In addition, it doesn’t come with any clamps or proper fitting gaskets. I would spend the extra few dollars and get something that last long term , if you don’t want future plumbing problems later.

Easy to install. And much cheaper than normal pipes.
I'm a woman with some handy woman experience. This was a lot cheaper solution for a drain for a column bathroom that always seemed to get plugged for no reason. I pulled the original off and pushed this one an and walla! If I was doing a dishwasher or other hi pressure replacement I would probably use a metal pipe. In the case of a bathroom drain with low pressure needs this worked perfect.

Saved $25 and a hour of installation with this one fitting
Love this thing! Fastest insulation project ever and to top it all off I saved about 25 bucks from Lowe's. Do yourself a favor? Get this flex pipe. Save some time and money

Item leaked and was unusable
I had ordered and installed one on a bathroom and ordered a second for the second sink. The first worked fine but the second arrived with half of the item missing, it having been torn in half. The second was replaced but when it arrived it had a leak that could not be fixed so the item was useless. Although one of the items is functioning I would not recommend them.
