These were easier to use than expected. I am using yellow bees wax and the mold releases beautifully. Instructions suggest cutting down one side for easier removal but it wasn't necessary to do so. Not difficult to get the candles out at all.

These worked very well and look great

These are very cute and I gifted them to my Dad who is a beekeeper himself so he is using his own bee wax for the candles and loves them! The only reason for a four star review instead of five stars is because on one of the sides in the tall mold, there was some misshapen honeycomb but that's not a huge deal as you can just put that side to where you can't see it on display. Besides that they are wonderful!

Small and poor mold quality. Holds wax but the larger deforms from the weight

I made beeswax candles for my family for Christmas with these and they loved them! I poked a hole with a small nail and threaded the wick though then taped it with masking tape. I taped the other end to a pencil with masking tape and centered it over the middle of the candle mold then poured the melted wax in. They turned out really well and there was no leakage! Wait for your candles to fully cure/dry over about 10-12 hours before attempting to remove them from these molds or you might end up having a bit of trouble with their shape. I recommend using unfiltered beeswax for that really nice honey smell that it gives.

My mom used beeswax from our hives this past season and added them to these molds. The result is obvious from the photos, they turned out great and SO ADORABLE! Beeswax is the healthiest burning candle material available. I highly recommend these molds if you plan to try your hand at it!

Both molds are ridiculously slanted and uneven, so much so that I have to 'fix' every candle which is NOT what I was looking for. I bought 3 skep molds from another company and they're perfect 👌

Easy to use. Candles turned out perfect! Only thing is the Honeycomb mold tore when used it second time. I was very careful and did not abuse it or misuse it.

Je suis très satisfait de cet achat. N'ayant que peu de cire, je n'ai pu utiliser que le petit moule, mais toutes les personnes à qui j'ai offert des bougies réalisées avec ce moule ont été ravies. Je recommande sans aucune hésitation ces articles, car je ne doute pas que les bougies que je pourrai faire par la suite avec l'autre moule seront également réussies.

Lovely moulds. The smaller Skep style mould is very easy to use indeed. The larger mould has needed a bit more finessing and practice to get a reliable result, but the fidelity of the modelling is excellent along the whole height. I would disagree about cutting the mould - it is flexible enough to remove the cooled candle without needing a slot. It does however need a little extra support around the base when you pour the wax to prevent it bowing out with the pressure of hot wax. A piece of normal paper wrapped around the bottom 2/3rds of the height and secured with sellotape prevents this problem, and is easily removed to take the candle out of the mould and can then be reinstalled (with some new sellotape). Perfect!
