Starbucks Decaf Caffe Verona Ground Coffee, 12 Ounce (Pack of 3)

Great flavor. Great coffee.

I'm a huge fan of dark roasts, and my absolute favorite coffee is Starbucks' Gold Coast Blend; however, I recently took the difficult decision to switch to decaf for health reasons, and I had to give up my Gold Coast extra bold. I was stonewalled in my attempt to find a decaf that left no aftertaste and wasn't offensive to my finely tuned taste buds :o) I came across this on-line and took the decision to purchase it. I live in the Caribbean and there are no Starbucks stores in my country, so I bought three packs from Amazon, and prayed I wouldn't regret the purchase. At first, I was a little bit disappointed because this roast is not as dark as the extra bold I prefer. However, after a couple of days, I began to really enjoy this particular brew. I no longer dread my morning cup of decaf, because I have found one that truly satisfies my taste buds. I HIGHLY recommend this coffee for those switching from a dark roast to decaf.

Nice, rich flavor. Most decafs are too weak for my taste. With this roast, it's hard to tell that it's decaf.

Too bitter for me.

I can only drink decaf and Starbucks is my favorite because it tastes like the real thing. I love this coffee but, here in small town New Mexico, it's almost impossible to find and very expensive. I was delighted to find it on Amazon, delighted with the seller's efficiency, and quite thrilled to have a large supply of my favorite addiction.

Ive had lots of Starbucks coffee, always enjoyable until now. For starters, this coffee is supposed to have a dark coco, sweet flavor. No coco detected and definitely not sweet. More like very BITTER. When brewing the scent of burning fills the air. This same aroma ruins the drinking experience. I like strong coffee. Had to add an additional heaping scoop for 10 cups to taste anything much at all. I am puzzled and upset that i bought 3 bags of this.And one last thing. It was over priced. 12 oz bags sell locally for $7.99 each. My mistake on that.

I find that most stores (including the Starbucks stores) simply do not carry the decaf coffee grounds to use with my French Press. I have to ask them to order it for me. I was so happy when I found this through amazon.com and I will continue to buy it in bulk this way.
