Great impact driver.
I have been researching impact drivers as I don't always want to always use my Dewalt 20V drill in certain situations. After watching several Youtube videos, this impact has been featured quite a bit and was praised for what it can do for the price. I honestly didn't want to spend high dollars for a Dewalt or Milwaukee (primary used for household DYI in my case) and it was between this impact or a newer Craftsman 20v around the same price. I chose this and happy that I did. Used it today to install a new light fixture and was surprised how quick it drives screws in/out. Came with a battery charger, battery and a Phillips bit. Only thing I wish it came with was a carrying bag, like other user reviews on here have mentioned. Took about 20 - 25 minutes for the battery to fully charge. The LED on the head is bright and comes in handy. Looking forward to using this SKIL impact driver and hope it lasts as long as my Dewalt drill has.

Powerful and precise tool, it's also very lightweight
A very powerful and precise tool, it's also very lightweight and the battery lasts a long time. I like the multi-level torque control it has, which allows you to adjust the required force. It's also very lightweight for use at heights for long periods of work. The included light is the best available compared to other brands like Milwaukee or Dewalt.

Awesome tool for the price
Very compact driver great for driving self tapping screws in furniture or using as an impact wrench for skid-plates or top of engine work. Can even remove lugnuts on Priuses and the like

Very nice, and improved over the former model
I'm a retired contractor, and I'm particular about my tools. We have many more choices for good powertools today than we used to. The Skil 12 volt line is surprisingly good, I have several of their products. I had the older 12 volt impact, and it was good, but not perfect. This newer model comes pretty close. More compact, very powerful, works great! More than good enough for homeowners, would be fine for most professional use. And the price is right!
