โOdysseyโ a re-imagined greatest hits album that takes the listener on a journey through the incredible musical history of one of the UKโs most successful bands of all time. The โOdysseyโ album - produced by Stuart Price - features 27 tracks spanning three decades of the bandโs history. โOdysseyโ is both a celebration of Take Thatโs past and present, an emotional journey through all their incarnations. The album is peppered with soundbites from their life, building a historical narrative around the songs - the story of five Northern teenage lads, who went on to become one of the biggest boy bands of all time, before splitting up and reforming again nine years later with one of the most sensational music comebacks ever seen.

Could have done without the "soundbites"
Wish I'd read the detail rather than just the track listing before I ordered this one. Was looking forward to the new album to match the tour, saw it available to pre-order and just ordered - without reading enough about it. Great album, BUT for me personally, the "soundbites" (snippets of conversation or interviews) are extremely irritating. If it was a video and they were showing you clips in between tracks then ok, but on an album that I mainly listen to in the car, I just want the music. I find the soundbites extremely irritating and annoying and just want to get on with the song that's about to play. Would I have bought it if I'd known it would be peppered with bits of conversation ? Probably not. The music is, as always, great and as well as new, there are older favourites to be enjoyed - I just could have done without the talking.

Take That Greatest Hits Reimagined
Take That have released a few greatest hits and who can blame them with the various stages of the group. This is an reimagining with guest stars adding to the recognised songs. Without spoiling things, this is a great collection of hits and a must for any fan or anyone looking to add TT greatest hits album.

Rather good if you like Take That. Rubbish if you donโt.
My wife likes Take That. This is a Take That album. She listens to it and it makes her happy. And that makes me happy (and left in peace). So, if you have someone in your life who likes Take That, buy them this album and revel in the glory of knowing that youโll get a bit of respite from them whilst itโs playing.I suppose the boy Barlow can actually write a decent enough pop song... but itโs never gonna beat Infected by The The in my personal Top Ten Album Chart.

Well .... okay
I didn't like all the talk before we got their music. I have to skip that which is annoying.
