It does what it says and more. It matches perfect on 1.25M (220), 2M (144), 70CM (440), Marine Band and GMRS. This is a great antenna and I can fully use all radio options. I will get a NMO mount on my boat and get same flexibility there. Best purchase on an antenna so far. Get a large magnet base, it's big with a lot of wind resistance. I use 5 inch TRAM base and it holds at 80mph no problem.

Great antenna. This is working awesome paired with an Anytone AT-5888UV UHF radio. Initially I thought it didn't include the fold-over feature as the packaging has no reference to this nor instructions from Japan. After reading some other reviews I figured it out. You have to pull upward on the main portion of the antenna to expose the hinge and then fold it over. Performance in GMRS so far has been outstanding. I can scan HAM as well and pull stuff in for miles. Great product.

As always,, antennas or budget-friendly performers. Use an NMO mount with this guy to ward off tailgaters!

Great antenna

If you’re looking for a dual bander for your vehicle, this is probably the one you want. Performance is excellent with a low sub-2 SWR across the 2m and 70cm bands. As an added bonus, SWR is still acceptable in the business band and GMRS band, meaning this is truly a “one antenna to rule them all” situation. I own two of these and in fact use one as my base antenna; with a magmount on a chimney cap. I’m able to reach stations as far as 43 miles away with a 50 watt transceiver. Receive performance is very good as well. In my truck I use a Wouxon KG-980p which is capable of AM receive; and I’m actually able to reasonably effectively pick up CB radio from nearby traffic. Of course you wouldn’t want to transmit on the CB band with this antenna but it sure a versatile receive antenna on top of it all.

Acceptable SWR on 70cm (1.03:1), 1.25m (1.0:1), 2m (1.25:1) & GMRS (1.9:1). Very great reception & transmit. A little tall but you can pull up & lay it over for parking garages or low clearance areas. Very rigid, not very flexible so watch for low clearances. Overall great antenna though.

This is my antenna I use for all my VHF needs with a little trim. 1.6swr from 138mhz-162mhz and 220-226mhz with a swr 1.4. I use it for my little Btech Quad band. Over 30 miles into a 1.25m repeater in Houston TX at 20 watts. Using a Diamond NMO lip mount on my hood. With the trim it tunes on the UHF a little high now. Somewhere in the 475Mhz area but for me that is ok.

This is a nicely made, quality antenna. It works as advertises and was a good price and this antenna is not cheap anywhere. Used for gmrs and repeaters also murs and other vhf frequencies.
