Very hydrating
As a former oral cancer patient, dry mouth is a long-term issue. I am so glad I found this gel. I’ve tried other gels but they have not worked overnight as well as this one. Also, with sensitive oral tissues, mint flavoring is often irritating. This product has a pleasant citrus flavor that is easier on sensitive areas in my mouth than mint-flavored products.

Better than most of the dry mouth products but still needs work.
I have tried everything out there for dry mouth syndrome. I also have OLP (Oral Lichen Plantis) which compounds the problem. The OLP creates open ulcers. Most products for dry mouth have mint or sometimes cinnamon. Some even have a small amount of alcohol.Putting something like mint or other flavors to to stimulate saliva on an open wound in your mouth, produces a whole new level of pain. I am sure it is prohibited in the Geneva Convention as an inhumane torture.Another issue with most of the artificial saliva products is that they do not last long. The Xyligel by Oracoat is so far the best product for me. It is far from perfect, but it is the best of the products I have used.

Dentist recommended
I have an unusually dry mouth due to medications. Especially at night. My dentist recommended this product. I was a bit hesitant as I have tried a different one in the past that was gross. This one has a pleasant orange taste (not too strong), is easy to use, just takes a little bit so it lasts longer and works so well. It isn’t unpleasant in any way. I am very happy that I gave it a chance. Will definitely keep buying it.

Doesn’t work
This does not increase moisture in the mouth / increase saliva production. Used the right amount and just kept adding more to see if I could get results. It’s not that it doesn’t last long, it’s that it doesn’t work at all. My medicine gives me dry mouth. Taste is okay even though that doesn’t matter. They do not accept returns so don’t bother buying this. The act mints or beej gummies work better, even if it’s just for a little while.

Works somewhat, funny texture
It's a gel with a mild citrus flavor, which is a nice change from mint! I have a hard time with the texture, it's a gel but it almost feels a little oily too. I get so weirded out by the texture I can't tell how well it really works! Lol (I'll try to update the review after I use it some more). And you're supposed to squish it through your teeth? It would be nice if the directions gave a little more information about how much to use and how many times a day you can use it. I get extremely dry mouth due to medication and I need it 24/7!! Though it does say it might help prevent tooth decay? I probably won't buy this again. I prefer a spray, drops, or lozenges.

They work
I have extremely dry mouth due to autoimmune issues. My dds recimened xylitol tablets. Since these are great I looked for other things by them. I found and love these as well. Great for dry lips.
