Classic Pantry Staple with Consistent Quality
Classic Pantry Staple with Consistent Quality Barilla Elbows Pasta has become a go-to in my pantry for reliable weeknight meals. The elbows cook evenly and keep their shape without getting mushy, which makes them perfect for everything from classic mac and cheese to pasta salads. I appreciate that they are made from durum wheat semolina, which gives them a nice bite and flavor that works well with creamy sauces, tomato-based dishes, or even just butter and Parmesan. The 8-box pack is practical—it saves me from running to the store every time I want to make a quick meal, and the shelf-stable packaging keeps it fresh for months. I also like that it’s non-GMO and kosher certified, which adds a layer of reassurance about quality. One thing to keep in mind is portioning—since the boxes are 16 oz each, it’s easy to make too much if you’re cooking for just one or two people. But leftovers store well and reheat nicely, which softens that drawback. Bottom line: A dependable, versatile pasta that cooks up perfectly every time and is worth stocking in bulk. Excellent, versatile product
We recently bought a 16-count case of Barilla Elbows. The price was fantastic, even lower than the unit pricing of private label pasta. I was anticipating receiving product nearing its "Best By" date, but the case is marked for 2028. We won't have a problem consuming the product before then, but we ditched the boxes and use food safe plastic buckets for storage to eliminate damage from pantry pests. I like Barilla's elbows because the ridges hold onto sauce better than other brands macaroni. The shape is lends itself nicely to a wide variety of dishes. The quality, texture, and cook time is consistent. I'll absolutely recommend if the price is right.

Very good.
I bought a case of these on sale, at a very good price. I don’t know about special “gourmet” pasta, but these seemed very good to me and make a great lunch (or dinner). Actually, I think that finding it on sale made it taste even better!

Good Quality Pasta but Slightly Pricey!
Ти Barilla pasta always cooks perfectly and has a great texture — it holds sauces very well. The 8-pack is convenient for families, but the price feels a bit high compared to other brands. Still, the quality and taste make it worth buying again.

Great brand of pasta
This was a great price for pasta. These taste delicious, didn't cook up sticky. Texture is good and holds sauces well. Very versatile - you can use them in everything from spaghetti to Mac n cheese. They are not gluten free.

VERY GOOD PASTA AT A VERY GOOD PRICE POINT.
THIS IS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE BARILLA SHAPES, AND IT WAS OFFERED AT A VERY ATTRACTIVE PRICE! HAD TO STOCK-UP! IT WAS WELL PACKAGED, AND ARRIVED UNDAMAGED, WHICH IS A PLUS SINCE WE ARE IN A VERY REMOTE LOCATION.
