Great Product!
I installed this in my 2005 Jeep LJ. Rather easy to install if you get creative. I had to extend the actuator wiring to fit my application and the location where I mounted the control module but for most applications I think the wiring is plenty long. I love the fact that one master actuator can drive all the others. Turn the key in the drivers door and the passenger door automatically unlocks. Or use the handy key fobs. Gives my Jeep a great locking functionality that it didn't have from the factory!

Works
Installed in an extended chevy express van. Recommend watching youtube videos to go over the install, but it was not bad if you know how to wrench on cars. Other notes: * The master switch will lock/unlock the rest of the doors. So if you lock the drivers door, the rest of the locks will lock. And if you unlock it, all doors will unlock. * The manual locks are a little bit harder to lock/unlock now, but I am still able to lock & unlock with a key * The wiring harness was too short for the side & rear doors of my van. I needed to get an additional 22 feet of wire to complete the installation. * I have no idea how to hook up the flashers and horn/siren. The instructions didn't really provide any insight into how those leads would work. I guess I could have used a multimeter to figure it out. * I lost one of the actuating rods during the install. I was able to get a replacement from a local car audio shop for cheap. * I used loctite on the actuating rod clamps, don't want those rattling out * I tried to line the actuating rods as close as possible to original lock rod. One I had to bend slightly to get good fitment. * The locks seem to work well. All doors lock and unlock easily. Time will tell. UPDATE: June 2025, Still working well. I took a multimeter to the pink (turn signal) and yellow (siren/horn) leads. Both leads seem to be signaling 12V (not ground). 1 pulse for lock, 2 pulse for unlock.

Used to replace a 25 year old keyless system
I used this AUTOHAUX keyless system to replace a 20+ year old system that had quit working in my 1970 GMC truck. The wiring was the was same, down to the colors of the wires. Even the new actuator mounting hardware was the same as the old actuator hardware. I just cut the wires off at the old keyless module connector plug and spliced the new keyless module connector plug into the existing harness. Everything works fine This new system uses one 5 wire lock actuator and my old system used two 5 wire lock actuators. There doesn't seem to be any physical difference between the new and old actuators. So I didn't need to replace my existing lock actuators. By having two 5 wire actuators I can lock all doors by manually locking either door. With the old keyless module, the driver's door lock actuator would not unlock the door. Just by changing out the old keyless module with the new keyless module got the driver's door actuator working again. The range on these remote key fobs is great. I can lock or unlock the doors easily over 50 feet from my truck.

Easy install
I was able to connect to the fuse box on the interior drivers side of my 2010 Silverado using an add a circuit fuse tap to the constant 12v power for the cigarette lighter. A bit lucky to not have to run it up into the engine fuse box. Would not have had enough supplied wire to get there. Pulling the five wires through the boot was a little challenge so had to use some wire I had laying around to pull it after wrapping in electrical tape and then lube. Mounting the actuator was easy. The hardest part was connecting the brass rod from the actuator to the existing locking rod. I had very little space to work in my door panel (1” diameter hole) so on the second door I made a whole to get it done fast on the passenger side. I used thread locker on the rod connector and screws. Took about 3 hours in total including electrical taping up the rest of the extra cord and tucking it away. Easy for someone remotely handy and way cheaper than paying a garage $600 to do it.

So far so good. Easy install and setup although instructions are a bit sparse on what voltages etc are presented to aux wiring such as remote internal locking and horn
