Nice little tea pot! :)
Love this little tea pot. Color is as pictured. The whistle is pleasant. Pours nicely, and it is easy to clean. Not too hot, can pick it up by the handle.I read the reviews on the splattering out of spout- saw a video on one. Folks, you might be filling the pot too full- keep the water at least an inch below the spout, and as with any boiling water, pour slowly. The pot comes with instructions regarding the danger of overfilling. It's a liitle pot, meant to boil a smaller amount of water. I've had no trouble with mine.Rinse/wash daily, let air dry and they'll be no problem with rust either. Any metal tea pot with water sitting in it will rust, or accumulate mineral deposits. Most sold at this price are not stainless steal or rust proofed pots.Manufacturer produced the goods as described, and the seller delivered quickly. So, Buy the cute little tea pot!You sure can't beat it for the price. : )

Who is this perfect for?
Me. I love this little kettle. It's also perfect for a couple or small family and those who don't need a whistle that wakes the dead. The design is very aesthetically appealing and functionally suites me well too. Being smaller means that even full the kettle is not too heavy to lift or pour. It is well balanced and does not feel akward in pouring. The lever under the handle allows for a firm grip when pouring. The top comes off without difficulty yet seals well when closed. I can easily fit my hand inside to clean the kettle as well. The handle is high enough to easily fill the kettle from a brita pitcher without tilting the kettle. The whistle will alert you if you are in the kitchen. If you put the kettle on and leave the room, it's true you may not hear it. In other words, what they say about a watched kettle is not true. Some reviewers have noted that the kettle spills all over the counter. I have only found that on a few occassions. I believe that occurs if the kettle is filled past the max capacity. Keeping the water below the spout weld should help. If you need to overfill, you need to get the 2 quart kettle. The rhubarb color was not as vivid as I had hoped, but all in all, this kettle is perfect for me. Adding a note here: there is a message under the kettle top which warns against over filling. You may be able to see it on the photo.

Great Tea Kettle!
This tea kettle has been a great purchase! It's been a long time since I updated my tea kettle. I'm surprised how cheap this is for the high quality you receive. The capri turquoise color is nice and makes a great kitchen piece on my stove. It's more of a blue than a turquoise but I'm happy with it! It's a medium-sized tea kettle but that's perfect for one or two people at a time. The whistle is decent; a little quiet, but sufficient if you're in the kitchen or a nearby room.I've had this for a couple of months and haven't had any issues with rust, leaking, or the plastic top melting. For all tea kettles, I've found that heat-induced issues are often due to gas burners being on too high and the heat creeping up the sides of the kettle, making the handle heat up and plastic melt. The only times I've ever had issues with hot water splashing out of the spout while pouring (whether this or any other tea kettle, no matter the depth of water) are when I'm pouring the water too quickly. You want to pour slowly enough to keep some air between the water and the spout - not pour so quickly that all the water is in the spout at once.I recommend purchasing this if you're looking for a new or additional tea kettle!

Nice little kettle.
Decent value. Looks good - doesn't take up too much room. Just the right size for two people using it. Heats up fast, whistle is loud enough unless you are several rooms away. We can hear if fine from the adjoining rooms. We've only had it about three months, but so far no rust or chips. Only caveat - it does dribble a little bit down the spout, but I always pour on the counter next to the sink so not an issue for me.

My favorite teapot - pretty to look at and works great!
My favorite tea kettle! I loved it so much, I bought one for my mom as well. I've been using mine for over 6 months, as good as brand new. The broad base enables it to heat up incredibly fast. You can fill from the spout without having to remove the lid. The spout opens with a squeeze on the handle at the top so no flicking open and shut. I don't notice that the handle gets too hot, but I am usually only boiling a small pot at the time so not as long for it to be on the heat. It definitely does not get as hot as the handle of my last metal tea kettle. The ceramic is EXTREMELY easy to clean. Seriously, there is like one spot on it, I take a warm soft sponge and voila, it looks brand new.The green color is fabulous! It is true to the picture depicted HERE, but note that on the box the teapot comes in, the color seems more minty. Never fear! When you take it out it's the awesome green you were expecting. It looks so nice on the stove. Not to sound over the top, but it brings me joy every time I use it or even set eyes on it.
