Monroe C-Table with Concealed Drawer

It was very easy to assemble, seems sturdy enough for my purposes. I use it as a night stand next to the bed. The concealed drawer blends well and you would not know it is there by just looking. The magnet lock is clever and works well. And yes, any strong magnet will open it. But someone would need to know A) a drawer even exists B) a magnet is what opens the drawer and C) the exact place to put the magnet to open the drawer. Would I trust this in a home with small children to store a firearm, NO. But it is fine in my opinion in a home free of kids. My only negative is the finish could have been a little nicer, but for the price it is acceptable. And it is actual real wood, not particle board. I would buy it again.

I liked it so much, I bought another one. This was easy to install, and it works great as a night stand or side table. The hidden compartment is a nice and isn't noticeable.

I love the table, I love the concept. The two things I'm not totally happy with is if you tip it over you would see the drawer, I am going to add a bottom to it so if it gets tipped over you would only see the bottom of the table. Also the magnet didn't work, it was too weak. I went to the hardware store and bought a 65lb. strong little magnet and that works fine. I would buy it again only because I am able to fix the little issues that it has.

Decent table. Build quality is just ok. The hidden drawer would stick frequently because the pin would not release right from the magnet. Screws seem to align OK but I had one split the wood unfortunately. All hand tightened. I would have just returned it but I made some adjustments to make it work.

I ordered one and after it was assembled, I love it! It’s perfect for our little cottage and adds a level of security for us with its hidden compartment. I love it so much I ordered a second one! Quality is on point.

Product is good for what its worth. The magnet locking system doesn't always unlock to the magnet. Also when its closed it still kinda looks like its a drawer. Kinda cheap but also gets the job done. I wouldn't suggest having a defensive gun locked in it because it will take a few minutes just to get it to unlock.

Very impressed with the quality of wood. Assembly was quick, and the instructions were actually helpful. Everything was included as stated except for some screw top covers which they mentioned as the final step In the assembly instructions. I’m not too concerned because they are hard to see screws anyway. Also, the white magnet to unlock the drawer comes with an unmentioned thin adhesive magnet together in a small plastic bag. I applied it to the bottom of the main white magnet because I assumed it was necessary, and after doing so it weakened the power of the main magnet. It was very difficult to get it to open the drawer because it was too weak like some other reviews mentioned. After removing the adhesive magnet from the main one, and then trying it, it made the drawer open much more easily and consistently. I think a lot of the poor reviews about the weak magnet are due to other customers doing the same unintentional mistake I did. Don’t apply the adhesive magnet to the main magnet, and your drawer will work flawlessly and consistently. Overall a fantastic and fun to use piece of furniture for the money.

We bought this table to go between two recliners. Needed a narrow table that was the height of the chair arm. This one is perfect height. Nice color and sturdy. You will need a screwdriver and some patience to put it together, but that's typical with unassembled furniture. A great table for the money.
