SEBO POWER CORD 5450DG

The Sebo-made cord replacement is expensive, but high quality. It is just the correct length for winding on the Sebo vacuum's handle. Using a generic cord would require some measuring and wire stripping that would take significantly more time. Installation is mostly straightforward, but I advise taking a few close-up photos of the old cord connection before it is removed. The wires have to be looped in a precise way to fit into the internal guides.

I accidentally caught the cord and chewed it up. The replacement came fast and was easy to install. I like it much better than the original cord. It doesn’t seem to tangle as much. Very happy!

The cord was fine but plan on using a YouTube tutorial for Sebo cord installation as it's a bit tricky.

It fixed my vacuum. I am grateful because I love the vacuum and it was an easy install.

It fit and works perfectly...first was no longer working due to break in cord...our faulty not SEBO's.

I purchased this item because one of my dogs chewed up my original cord. Works great, my son changed the cord for me and said that it was fairly easy. He said that the handle area was a little tricky to work with so make sure you don't lose any screws.

How happy we are to discover a seller that had an authentic replacement German Sebo vacume cord (NOT a Chinese knock off!) Ours had gotten caught one too many times under household items causing the cord to tear down to the wire and having this replacement available is terrific! It is the exact original, we are thankful!!!

Excellent value, great length and fairly easy to fit

Absolutely devestated that whilst vacuuming my stairs I accidentally dragged the base/head of my Sebo X4 on top of the power cord. That resulted in the brush bar gripping the cable and pulling it n so deeply that it stripped the cable down to bare exposed copper wire and obviously tripped my RCD at the circuit breaker box. I bought this particular one to replace it because of two main reasons, firstly because it was slightly longer and secondly because it has a cable clip to facilitate clipping the cable together when wound up which is something my old cable didn't have. It always puzzled me why the Sebo didn't have the ability to stop the brushbar from sopinning when using the wand and an extension tube. Anyways, I digress. Replacing the cable was straight forward enough after watching a video on Youtube and it took me around 20 minutes from start to finish. I now have a fully working vacuum cleaner !
