I had to leave a review for this product because wow.... I'm really impressed! I've been looking at this curl refresher for awhile but too nervous to get it because my hair is funny acting with a lot of products. The product is usually either too heavy or not heavy enough to keep moisture in my scalp. I suffer from having low porosity hair and it sucks!!! Two things that drew me to wanting to try this product is because it says it had rose water in it and that's always a plus. It also said that it specifically was formulated for low porosity hair. My hair is super curly and thick so my scalp dries fast like saw dust after putting moisturizer in it. I use the Camille Rose Curl Maker and after a day of a great curls I wake up the next day and it's dry again so I have to use a spray mister of water to refreshen my look. I was getting tired of that because too much water can start making your hair shed or break off if you're doing it often, as well as dry it out. I needed some type of curl refresher to make my hair look refreshed again. I used a few sprays of this rose water and I noticed how good it smelled. It has of course the rose water, honey, ginger, acai berry, and other products. My hopes are NEVER up when it comes to hair products because I go through a lot of trial and error trying to find those golden products. This spray right here changed up my entire game. It took a minute to settle in after spraying it in my hair but within five minutes I had to do a double take because not only did I have my day one curls that I have after a fresh shampoo and conditioner but it was sooo shiny and bouncy I couldn't believe this was my hair. After playing around with the spray amounts I've noticed it can be really sticky and greasy if you spray too much but once you figure your perfect amount out you'll love it. It does great with adding that high volume shine, bounce, curl, moisture and definition to my hair. This is definitely a new keeper to my hair routine and it last so much longer and better than wetting my hair with water. Most importantly I'm not suffering from dry scalp any more. Anybody who suffers from low porosity hair I promise this product will get your hair and scalp where it needs to be to give your confidence back to the point you'll forget you have low porosity hair. I needed something to add moisture to my locs and this spray was suggested. I’ve gone through a lot of different brands, and this is the only one that actually makes my hair feel nice! It smells great, with a very light scent. This will definitely be my go to spray.

My only real complaint is it doesn’t quite smell like roses. I use the entire line of Carol’s Daughter Rose Water Wash Day Delight products but they don’t make a refresh spray and I was hoping this one would smell similar. It smells very nice, but not like roses. Aside from my different expectations for the smell, the product itself is so nice. I’m a mixed girlie. My predominant curl pattern is 3A/B depending on the day and weather but I have multiple curl patterns from 3A-4A. My hair is fine but also very thick with medium porosity. I also live in the desert so it is DRY and my hair is THIRSTY. Like other reviews have stated, this product is indeed on the oilier side rather than the watery side. It left a sticky residue on my hands and my unfortunate phone that got in the way. It also made my hair feel oily/greasy at first. However, I poured about half into a separate mister bottle and diluted it with purified water and tried again and wow. Huge huge difference. It left my curls moisturized and even tamed the perpetual halo of frizz. If this product makes your hair feel greasy/sticky/oily after using it, dilute it with some water. Same thing if you find the smell too strong/overpowering, adding water to it helped cut back some of the scent (personally, I love strong smelling products that have a scent that lingers and rose is my “personally identifiable scent” hence the slight disappointment at the lack of actual rose smell). Overall, 4/5 stars for the scent issue. The oily/sticky issue can be combatted by dilution and then it’s the best of both worlds. Also, a 100% black employee company owned by a black woman? Take all my money 💸💸💸

I originally bought this in a store and have had great results in refreshing my curls and it works beautifully as well as it moisturizers my hair. It has natural ingredients. I was glad to find this on Amazon and will continue to buy it when I run out.

I have 2c/3a curls and needed a product to easily refresh my curls each morning without any fuss as I have a young baby so no time to completely restyle every day! This works very well without leaving any residue. My curls easily bounce back with a spray and scrunch. Will definitely buy again!

Since my hair is mostly gray it has become quite frizzy, especially in damp weather. I have tried different shampoos and conditioners and some defrizzing serums and spray-on products from other companies. This is the first one that really lives up to its promise. I am not a fan of leave-in products in my hair but this one is not as heavy as most and I find the fragrance pleasant and not overwhelming.

its a great light product. I would buy again. However too much can make you hair have that wet look.

I use this as I was told my hairdresser to use this on my starter locs if it starts to feel dry. It smells great and definitely hydrates my locs. Definitely recommend.
