Will this punch tidy holes in felt?

Hello, I’m sorry but I cannot say for sure. The punch is solid which is unlike say a leather or fabric punch which is hollow. For metal sheet (and card) it works perfectly and that’s all I’ve used it for. I’m afraid I don’t have any felt otherwise I would try it for you.

Could this punch a hole in a bottle cap? I want to make bottle cap earrings and am having a tough time with a drill!

Possibly yes. I don’t have a bottle top handy to try but I can pierce sterling silver at 0.5mm thick.
