Sorry. I don't understand the question. It would help if you could be more specific about your requirements. In particular, how many LEDs would you like to drive? When you say "mains power supply" do you mean direct connection to the mains or do you mean connection through a voltage-reducing power supply. If the latter, is it AC or rectified to DC? Whether AC or DC, what voltage? Really, even if you can answer these questions, you still need to talk to somebody with some knowledge of electronics. Forgive me - the ability to answer those questions will not make a suitable solution simply spring into existence. It will need to be designed, or bought off the shelf if an appropriate driver already exists. Not very helpful I'm afraid. Apologies.

Q: Can these be used in a 12v vehicle for daylight running lights and do they dim

I'm in the modelling world, I'll be using mine in a helicopter, aeroplane and Mustang car. For each ,I'll be fitting a voltage regulator to a 3s 2200 lipo. So running from a car voltage will be no problem. Type in voltage regulator and pick Adjustable Voltage Buck Regulator DC-DC Converter Module with LED Display 4~40V to 1.25~37V LM2596

Maximum of 3volts if you have a higher voltage it will destroy the led

Q: I put 3v button cell to one led and voltage decreases to 2.78v. How long would it last if i can keep the current constant at button cell 3.4v ??

Not enough current with a button cell, will drain quickly.
