5-Plus Stainless Steel 2-qt Sauce Pan

Love the pots and pans. We have bought the a whole one piece at a time. I wish I would bought a whole set up front. It would have been cheaper. These are not non stick but easily cleaned.

2 quart saucepan is a great size for every kitchen. Great quality with even fast heating. Easy to clean and with elegant and expensive design. I have quite few of Demeyere 5-plus and I prefer the handle on 5-plus to the industry line. I will buy the Proline pry pans though as they are 7-ply and have more even heating than the 5-ply lines.

My first impression is one of annoyance. Two stickers attached directly to the pot are nearly impossible to remove, and I fear one will stain the pot's side! I expect this from cheap products, but it is 100% unacceptable from premium brands. And it's not like they don't know! The manual actually addresses this issue! it says: Remove the packaging and all the labels. Any adhesive residue from the labels can be removed with acetone (nail polish remover) But look at just how bad this is! Why? just why? Now I have to go out and buy nail polish remover to get this garbage off my pot! Unacceptable! They can, and should, do better than this. Very disappointing and totally unnecessary!

The Demeyere 5-Plus Stainless Steel 2-qt Sauce Pan and the company's other products in the same line are the best cookware on the market. Though extremely expensive, the Belgium-made pots and pans are a lifetime investment. We are planning to buy more over time, as the cost to buy all at once is prohibitive for our budget,.

We were looking for a saucepan for everyday use for brewing tea and when I ordered was expecting a smaller one. However the size was much bigger and decided to use for heavy indian cooking. This has become a favorite as food does not stick despite being all stainless steel. It is also easy to clean and a welcome healthy replacement for the not so healthy non-stick saucepans.
