Perfect little karaoke machine and excellent value for money. This is great for parties at home and I especially like that the sound level increases during instrumental sections and then reduces during singing. I note that there was not separate bass and treble dials- these are instead replaced by a 'balance' dial which i think is a lot easier to use in that respect and probably safer on the ears as a result. Extremely easy to use and the sound quality is excellent too. I am so happy with my purchase and definitely recommend for anyone who wants to recreate the classic karaoke atmosphere in the comfort of their own home.

Super value bit of kit, but works best when paired with an I-Pad or Android tablet (not included) to offer a larger screen. The built in screen is a little small and hence less easy to read. You get a sample CD-ROM disk, but inevitably will need more songs (e.g. offering words on screen). Here, I suggest that you download a Daewoo song pack to your I-Pad (subscription required of about £4.00 per month or £40 per annum), rather than buy any of the (similarly priced) CD-ROM disk packs. You then get access to 10,000 songs and we have yet to search for one that isn't available be they from contemporary Adele, to the Worzels and Benny Hill! We have now used at it a number of friends and family parties and it fantastic fun and good quality for the price. Sound quality is good from the internal speakers (considering price), but it inevitably lacks a bit of oomph in a larger room. You can play it via your TV (instead of I-Pad) if you have the appropriate RCA Connections (but converters are available). However, as I have an I-Pad (e.g. more portable), I added my regular more powerful computer speakers, which worked great. An issue was that the Karaoke machine has RCA/AUX Audio outputs, and my speakers have a 3.5mm jack. I couldn't find a 'RCA/AUX male to 3.5mm female' converter. However, I found an 'RCA /AUX male to 3.5mm male cable' and then a 'female 3.5mm to female 3.5mm' converter on Amazon for under a £tenner and they work great, but I do have separately powered speakers. It is a shame the karaoke unit doesn't have a simple 3.5mm output. I didn't try the USB socket, which I think is input only. Not sure if it offers any output or power supply? Overall, am delighted with the purchase when paired with I-Pad and additional speakers. I think it could be used in a professional environment (pub etc). But in a typical room in a house, it won't disappoint. Update. I can now confirm that the karaoke machine USB port does offer 5V power output. Hence , I could directly plug in speakers having a 3.5mm Jack (via 3.5mm to RCA/AUX converter) and the speakers USB power cable and it all works great. In summary, to get the best out of this unit, an I-Pad/Android and supplementary speakers is desirable, plus a subscription to additional songs. However, I still give it five stars as a credible base unit.

The screen was slightly to small but the overall product didn't disappoint. Satisfying piece of equipment. I'd definitely buy again.

Had two of these, they both had the same problem and just stopped working. They did fix the first one I had but it had the same issue after a short time

Offered this as a Christmas present to my missus, she loved it but to be very honest it feels cheap and the controls are as good as a 90's cheap discman, there isn't any easy way to choose a song from the cd apart from pressing the skip or previous button, the other option is either mp3, usb or the app but if you want to use cd's then we're stuck with a slow interface. Now, onto a more positive side, it's very easy to use, the microphones are good and when using the TV connection and the app it is real fun for the family.

Great little machine that sounds well but the major flaw is that if you put a karaoke cd on with approximately 20 tracks and you want to play number 12, the only way to do this is by skimming through every track to get there instead of being able to click straight on to the track you want. This is very very long winded . Another flaw is that it isn't supplied with a remote control so you have to physically get on your knees to press the buttons . I would say because of the cost it isn't value for money it should really be half the price it is.

Bought this as a christmas present for twin girls. Two microphones were so useful, when they opened it (no squabbling) The quality was good. Easy to set up and the family ended up having such fun and laughter on christmas day. Hopefully it will continue to please. So far good price, good buy!

This player has all the functions I need to practice my singing. I'm able to use all my karaoke CDs and play from my mobile, Bluetooth and other auxiliary equipment. Sound is adequate for home use and although small screen is OK for close viewing connections for iPads, Laptops and TV etc are a bonus.
