Why does LG think it's ok to put advertisements all throughout the tv's user interface???

Incredible. That is only the user interface which has the menu and all the apps embedded. When did you ever see a TV with advertisements in it's user menus? TV manufacturers stoop low by not allowing a feature to auto level the volume on commercials but that would be the last straw for consumers to see a advertisements on something they paid for AND DON'T WANT.

Will it break if I throw a beer bottle at it?

Only the screen, backlight, internal electronics, and possibly the frame will break, the rest of the TV should be just fine.

what is the distance between the legs?

I have the 43 inch TV and I measured the width before I bought it because my entertainment stand is only 35". While the TV is 38" wide, the distance between the legs is 32", which is a perfect fit for my stand.

I got the UGREEN HDMI 8K@60Hz 2.1 Cable Ultra High-Speed 48Gbps... It's way higher than the TV's output, but it's down compatible and someday if you have a higher version, the cable will still be useful...UGREEN cables are very sturdy too... Had one in my car for 4 years and till now looks like I just bought it yesterday
