I ordered this exact set twice. First time was 2 years ago, the two batteries that came then still work great! The second set I bought in June, they were functional until I tried to charge them, they are both no longer responsive. Contacted customer service but they weren't any help.**Edit customer service contacted me again. Michle Smith, thank you for taking my concerns into consideration. I did not want replacement batteries, I want these repaired. They refunded half the cost which I will use to hopefully repair them. BMS boards aren't really expensive, so as long as the cells are good I should have a couple batteries. Yeah I put in some extra work, but it's kinda fun, ya know?I hate to leave the OG review, but maybe there is something up with the design. The two sets of batteries I have use different BMS boards, failed design change maybe?Good luck!

Bought these batteries for use in my Milwaukee leaf blower this fall. I found that one battery got super hot and smelled of burnt plastic after 5 minutes of use. Come to find out that it got so hot that it melted one of the terminals in the battery. Cant find any info on how to warranty the product since its 7 months old.Edit: the company reached out to me and sent a replacement. They new one seems to be holding up. If your looking for a battery in a drill then these should work. Any continuous load like a leaf blower they will overheat very quickly.

Does not hold a charge or the the power of my factory 4.0 milwkaukee batteries. vender reached out to me and said i got a bad batch after send pics of all my milwaukee stuff{ 2 sawzalls,1 drill,1 grinder,3/8 impact,1/2 impact,circle saw and 2 chargers} now i have to send back and wait 3 wk for a refund instead of sending me 2 good batteries. i trusted them,paid them and waited for them but now i dont get a refund until AFTER they get it,inspect it then 5 working days to refund. I WILL JUST KEEP THE CRAP AND NOT TO BUSSINESS WITH THIS VENDER. MAYBE A BAD BATCH OR JUST A BAD PRODUCT, EITHER WAY IM NOT HAPPY WITH VENDER & KEEP MY REVIEW UP.

I bought this pair back in January 2020. These batteries work very well. I have many Powerextra batteries for my Milwaukee m12 and m18 tools and for the money they're hard to beat. However they are aftermarket batteries. I still use one of my 6ah 18volt batteries daily but unfortunately the other one died after about 6 months of use. At this price point I definitely feel they're still a good value but just buy at your own risk.Update: January 2021- I changed my rating from 3 stars to 5 due to Powerextras incredible customer service. Even though it had been almost a year since my original purchase, Jerry at Powerextra reached out to me and offered to replace the defective battery. I couldn't believe it. With service like this you can't go wrong, ill be a customer for life. So don't throw out your battery if it happens to cut out on you. Thank you Jerry and the entire Powerextra team.

I purchased these for general around the house use. They sometime need me to seat and reseat on the charger 2 or 3 times before I get them to start charging. However, earlier today I took the battery I was using off my drill and onto the charger. A quick whiff of electronic burning smell as I continued cleaning up followed by a quick look around and I noticed the battery was smoking very lightly on the charger. I put one of my real M18s on the charger and it worked fine, as did the other powerextra so it clearly was not the charger. If I wasn't taking my time cleaning up this could have been a pretty ugly disaster. On one hand they worked pretty well for the most part. On the other hand, real M18s have not failed on me like this.UPDATE(12/23/21): I was contacted directly by the seller who offered a replacement battery for the one that failed. I did not put in a complaint so clearly they are paying attention and making a serious attempt to support their product. I will continue to use the new battery and the old one that is still good and update my review accordingly. For now, I will bump this up a start because at least they work pretty well and there is always a possibility that electronics can go bad no matter who makes them.

Sneaky Amazon. Wouldn’t let me post this review with 1 star so here we go again this is the truth so buy at your own risk1st off these 6ah batteries are lighter in weight then my oe Milwaukee 3 ah battery in the pic. 2nd the initial charge finished way to quickly to be charging up a battery claiming to be 2 x the capacity of my 3ah oe, last but not least is the fact that both batteries do not hold up in run time compared to my 10 year old Oe 3ah Milwaukee battery On the exact same pictured device charging up the 1 thing my iPad. So I know well, how long it goes to fully recharge it. And these so called 6 ah don’t even come close at double the ah ratingNice try china gth

I use these batteries all the time and I actually have a few 12v and 18v. I had a problem I think one lost a cell and the battery gauge never showed so the battery was no longer any good. Well I reached out on here and they sent me 2 brand new batteries! If you have a problem they will stand behind it and this is the brand of batteries you need to buy for Milwaukee 12 and 18v. You won’t be sorry and if you have a issue they will take care of you
