Moen Chateau Chrome Single Handle Posi-Temp Shower Faucet, Valve Included, L2352

We bought these quality fixtures for our bathroom contractor to install. He seemed to install with ease and they fit well. They have not leaked and look great. The savings versus a comparable plumbing supply place was significant.

This Moen valve has been highly rated by other customers because it really is well made and works exactly as it should. I used it to replace a 25-year-old valve that barely worked, and now have a strong even flow of water in the shower with a smooth temperature control. If you're installing it yourself, you need some basic plumbing skills, but the instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Installation required making a hole in my wall and had to be installed by a plumber but shower faucet works great. Had a problem of shower water going very cold when some one turned on a faucet some where in my house. This shower faucet solved my problem and has a wide and easy adjustment range. Love this shower faucet.

Don't buy it unless you can solder copper joints. I previously bought a tub/shower valve from Moen that only required threading in PEX fittings. I expected this one, shower only, would be the same. It isn't; it required me to solder the connections.

I bought this shower head, because I liked the style of it, and the fact that it came with the rough in valve. That was pretty important for our budget. It was pretty easy to install.The rough in valve needed to be soldered to the pipes-there were no spot to do a compression valve. We took all the plastic parts out of the valve before we soldered, so they wouldn't melt. We had no problems getting it installed.The water pressure is moderate-not hard or light. I would like a bit more water pressure from the head, but it is doing the job we need it to do.

I searched everywhere for a contemporary shower trim set and was happy to find this set on Amazon. Great price and looks very high end. Other sets I looked at had black plastic on the shower head, where the water pours out. This set has a grey/taupe plastic that is much nicer. It has a beautiful organic shape compared to other sets that are too angular. The handle has fallen off a couple of times, but after tightening it, it has remained sturdy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Saved money from hardware store price. Simple install and works great. Would buy again if needed, but guaranteed for life - so should last a good while before I have to worry!

I will say I love Moen products; however the product description is inaccurate--please read before purchase.This DOES have a tub outlet on the valve itself. Basically it has 4 copper connections that you have to solder in (hot, cold, shower head, and then the tub spout which have to be plugged up). "Technically" it doesn't have the tub spout, but it does have the connection which is what I was trying to avoid.The product itself I'm sure would deserve 5 stars; however this isn't what I was looking for.
