Cold Steel Karambit Trainer Black, 4.0"

I sometimes carry a larger karambit and keeping my skills sharp require a larger trainer. This Cold Steel trainer is easy on the palms, fingers, and attack body parts of partners. I practice Pencak Silat and Eskrima and this trainer at 12$ is fantastic. Can't beat the value. Great build quality, not too sturdy and not too flimsy. Highly recommended.

This is fabulous! Weighted, proper fit, and just great for an 11 year old who is constantly running around the house practicing tai-chi and ninja moves.

The media could not be loaded. It’s good for a practice knife. I’m glad I bought one of these first, I’m constantly hitting my wrist with it. it not heavy so anybody can use it. It fits my big hands but the grip has indentations for people with smaller hands. After a while of constant spinning the plastic kind of hurts but that shouldn’t be an issue if you aren’t practicing for more than 20 ish minutes

You have always seen Karambits being used in the movies, they look so cool that you want to own one. They ARE very cool, they are VERY sharp, they WILL hurt you badly, and they take time to master. Please DO NOT go out and buy one of these knives without considering a training Karambit. Once you get the trainer, just play with it for a while and you will soon understand why you needed it. Next, watch some training videos, or even better find an actual place where you can get proper training. As you get better, you may decide that this is your new everyday carry knife. Please check State and City regulations for legality of carrying this style of knife. A simple visit to your local PD may be all you need, but don't just walk in with it strapped to your side. Buy a trainer, practice a lot and learn that there are so many different ways to use it. It is not JUST A KNIFE.

Good for practice

Really safe way to learn a really dangerous hobby. Beware other ‘trainers’ that actually still have pointed tips as they will still break skin. I got this so I could safely practice for use of the real thing, but it’s become such a fidget toy for me that I don’t see why I would ever want to spin something so dangerous around my face and veins. Good balance, little blade light compared to a real knife, but it’s a lot of fun and you never have to worry about the consequences of knicking/poking yourself or accidentally launching the thing at yourself or a bystander(it happens)
