Body for Life Success Journal [Phillips, Bill] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Body for Life Success Journal Review: Exactly What I Wanted! - This is exactly what I was looking for. I've known several people to have success with this program. I've tried several times, but I've never made it past a week or two. It explains the program briefly, but if you're new to the program or new to weight lifting, I recommend getting the original Body For Life Book that explains it in more detail. I struggle with motivation and sticking to a program. I have never completed any program. I'm three weeks into this and I feel confident for the first time I will complete these 12 weeks. I like that it not only has a food journal and a workout journal (I could print that), but I like that it has a daily "mindset journal." This really helps me take one day at a time and not get overwhelmed by constantly thinking "12 weeks." I also love the "Daily Lesson" and success story. That helps keeps me motivated daily that just sticking to the program will yield success. I started by carrying it with me and writing down everything I ate as I ate it. I will admit, it's definitely not pocket size so that got a bit cumbersome. But it has so much information, it's worth the size. I started completing my journaling at night before bed, preparing my plan for the next day and since I pack my food for the day, I simply eat what I pack and I stick to the program. I've heard several people say that for the first six weeks you don't see a lot of physical changes. So far I haven't seen a lot of changes, but my strength has improved, my energy is much higher and my sleep is SO much better. Since this program requires a decent amount of discipline, other areas of my life have improved as well. I'm becoming more disciplined overall and that is a surprise but welcome outcome. Overall, if you like journaling, you'll love this book. You can choose how much you use of it. You can take it to the gym with you, but it is is a bit big for that. What works for me is creating a similar chart in Google Sheets, opening that on my phone each workout, recording as I go and then transferring it to my book when I get home. I like looking back through the pages to see how my strength has improved. It's very motivated, well organized, and I can't recommend it enough! Review: A great planner for health - This is a great way to keep up with exercise and eating and Organizing my day. It goes well with the Body For Life book.

Essential BFL Tool!
I started my first Body-for-Life challenge on 1/6 and finished 3/29. This book was very important because I was able to keep track of my meals and workouts while reading the encouraging words of Bill Phillips as well as a successful transformation daily. The daily progress reports are VERY important for your success. The meals help you keep track of what you have ate so far (as well as planning), and you can review your previous workouts to better plan your next workout. Not to mention you can look back at how far you've come! BFL provides these sheets in the original book and their website, but having this all organized in this journal right in front of you with inspirational words from Bill makes it easier than printing out the pages everyday. I read half of the Transformations before I even started! They go into alot more detail than just looking around on the web...you can see how different beginning stats work for different people...and how many 12-week Challenges it may have taken *some* of them to get there. Plus, if you actually read his words, he offers you a little deal if you're unhappy ;) There will ALWAYS be anti-BFL people out there. All you have to do is look for the personal pages on the internet. Everyone knows the secret to losing weight: Exercise & Eating Right. Bill Phillips did not invent anything new, nor does he try to fool you into thinking so. He offers a structured program and mental encouragement towards realistic goals. If you actually read his book, follow his program, and track your hard work (like in this journal), you will look great in 12 weeks. I did, and I'm now in Challenge 2.

I love this book and highly recommend it!
I think this program is about 20 years old but I don’t know of anything on the market now that is this good. I purchased the book, the Journal, and the Eating for Life recipes book. I am about to complete my first week and I’m already losing weight. I am sure I will see results from the exercise. The Journal has kept me focused. It makes me evaluate my day (what went right, what went wrong, what can I improve upon, etc ) and also plan my meals and exercise for the next day. It has kept me so focused. Each of the books including the journal are so well laid out and have so much information in them. There are also very motivating pictures and stories of people who have been successful on this program. I am excited to see where this takes me. I’d recommend getting all 3 books if you are really serious.

Bill Phillips has set up a good method of motivating people into losing weight or changing body shape. this journal helps to keep you on track, it has several success stories within it, these keep you motivated. It also has daily sections in it to fill in your diet and training regime. It works if you stick to it, look at the website for more inspiration.

Need a great journal / workout trainer? This one is excellent. This is my second one. This has the Authors tips and training log forms. Very helpful to stay consistent. I use it to follow the suggested outlines and to modify according to my personal needs.

As the BFL UK site is still not up and running, this is a great way to monitor progress on the BFL challange. If anyone is doing the program I would say it is worth buying this journal, it really will help keep focused, and monitor your own progress.

Brilliant read. Easy to follow. Just need to ensure you can commit to the solid 12 weeks to get the results. This guy knows his stuff and the training reps do work.
