Turned out to be a great tool - after if originally was lost in the mail
As a follow up - The test lab finally said they found it and did senda test report.*******************************************************************Originally I saidI mail it in - they say they never got it..It has been 3 weeks - Pro-Lab said I should wait a bit longer - sometimes themail is slow..I'll wait a bit - then ask for either a free replacement or a refund from Pro-Lab..I would note that a short term 3-7 day test kit can be purchased through the American LungAssociation for $14 - this includes the test device, mailing and test results. This is a goodquick start way to check for RADON.

Lab results not as reported on packaging!
Long term radon test kit used to monitor for 6 months. Monitoring device sent to the Prolab in their packaging.Informed that the monitor device was damaged and could not be tested. They cashed my $20 check for analysis and offered a replacement monitor that would take another 6 months to radon sample. At that time I was also informed that testing was backlogged and it would take about 8 weeks for results! They told me that they would refund my $20 check but it’s been 3 months now and no check! Customer service contact tells me she’ll look into it but the accountant is out this week. This company is a SCAM! Good luck to you if you use this lab!

Easy to use. Cost effective.
There is a $20 fee per device. Results were completed easily and are in line with previous test I have done.

These tests are complete life savers. I use them for work. I would recommend them if you need answers on whether or not you have radon issues in your house.

Waste of Time
Bought this sensor last year for a long term evaluation of Radon in our basement. Set it up for three months, careful to follow the directions. Completed the test, packed it in the provided envelop, shipped to the lab, with additional fee, got notified today four months since purchase that the sensor was damaged and it will not provide results. What a total waste of time! They also notified me that new tests are backlogged and will take an additional 8-10 weeks for results. If you are concerned about Radon, just get a mitigation system installed an not deal with this scam...

good price for long term radon checking
Arrived very quickly and in good condition. I can't actually review the test kit because it is being used. I can say that the price is great because you have to pay another $20 for the test results and most of the other test kits end up costing around $40. by the time you are finished.
