The Penguin Complete Centenary Collection (14 volumes)

Arrived a lot earlier than I thought but that's no problem. If you like the Bond films, then this book set is definitely for you! It contains every single book written by Fleming, the box containing them is hardly damaged at all (which is great for second hand) and in terms of the price, you cannot go wrong at just about £39 when, for the Vintage Classics, it's over £100 brand new?! In terms of reading, each book has it's own personal introduction by book reviewers and authors, and the print is rather big so it isn't difficult to read it. Overall, superb purchase, and I'm certainly stirred by it.

I'd never read a 007 novel, but have seen the films, I bought this for holiday reading and enjoyed the chance to read in sequence and understand the characters more and how they fit in. The films are good because Fleming's descriptions are fabulous too - you can picture the scene, and having seen the films yes the stories have been taken out of context but the characters are faithful. Worth the extra and you dont lose them in a robust box set, recommended.

A great way to see how the creator of James Bond really saw the person and the plots in their mind! Yep there are still a few of us that like to do that and what better way than reading your way through this great selection of books. All in excellent condition and a great way to spend some time enjoying and comparing the films and original vision.

The product came very quickly and was in good condition however for the price and the fact that the description specified it was new I would have expected that it came wrapped. There should have been clear indication that it was not wrapped as I would not have spent so much money on it.

I once owned all the Bond books in hard cover - not first editions but all bought very shortly after they came out. They all disappeared whilst being loaned to friends.I was not actively looking for replacements, but spotted this set whilst browsing Amazon for something else, and bought it on impulse. Glad I did, I have just finished reading the last one and it reminded me how different the films became from the books. This time, no lending to friends

It clearly states "books in a nice box", but the books did not arrive in the box. I paid a small fortune for a collectora item, plus the extra tax upon receival in Spain. When I complained to the seller they say It stated It said on the asvertisement the books wasnt included but as you can see in the photo in the description it clearly states BOOKS IN A NICE BOX. I tried to return It but they said NO.

I remember reading the paperbacks with these covers 50 years ago, the artwork and the feel of the books brought back some good memories. The books came exactly as described all in the special box and I am delighted with them

Books came in a relatively decent shape, but 3 books were replaced with other Bond novels NOT BY Fleming. I keep the package because the price was good, but you should inform me about stuff like this.

I wasn't expecting to receive a new set in the wrapper, was very pleasantly surprised. Love it!!

Over Thanksgiving, I overheard my Father speaking to my Grandmother (his Mom) about what ever happened to his James Bond book collection he had as a kid. She said she didn't know, and he was talking about how he wish he still had the collection (He's a HUGE James Bond fan). Overhearing the conversation gave me the idea to try and track down a set similar to the one he had. I was lucky enough to find this set through Amazon sold by Goodwill. I bought the item several months ago, and my Dad's birthday isn't until August. The set is in great shape and I am hoping he enjoys the new set as much as he did th original he had.

Just what I expected to get. The case keeps all 14 books together well. The individual books are light (paperback) and easy to handle when reading. A must for James Bond fans

All 14 of Ian Fleming's original James Bond novels in one package. I have to say... I thoroughly enjoyed reading most of these books, and I have read each of them once or twice more. In fact, some of them (From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Casino Royale, just to name a few) are even better than the films! I shall continue to re-read these. Five Stars

Paperback Set: If you're looking for a good paperback collection of Fleming's Bond works, this is it if you can get it for a good price. Much better than trying to buy the book individually.
