A Preview to purchase xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Got the book to supplement the logical & mathematical aptitude of my kid who recently moved to class 2. The authors reputation follows with his name & thus decided to check it out. ABOUT THE BOOK: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx As the title suggests, the book is intended for class 2 kids & hence I ordered the same. The book was received quite fast just after three days of ordering. Allow me to introduce you to the book to cover all the aspects under various heads: 1. Book Binding : ************************** This book is only available in paperback binding as expected for its cost. The main cover of the book is reasonably thick which is good. 2. Size : **************** The book dimensions fare around 10.5 inches (Height ) by 8.5 inches ( Width ).Thickness is around 1 cm so it’s reasonably big in size where you can expect bigger font size , bigger pictures & clear visibility. 3. Content & No. of pages : ******************************** This book is rated for kids in class 2 ie; age group 7+ which is age appropriate for my kid. The book has in total around 112 pages of which last 2-3 pages hold the hints and explanations to each question of the various sections . Content : This is the most interesting part where I must admit that I was quite impressed with the tricky ways in which the questions were put up to push & shape your kids mental abilities beyond simple maths & logics. The book has a diverse content & covers topics like Number sense, computation operations, length weight and capacity, Time and money, line shapes and solids, patterns, pictographs & logical reasoning etc – all summed up under various mental drills The explanations included to derive at the answers after each section is really helpful. Furthermore the book has a colored print with various figures and shapes to prevent a monotony often encountered in maths books. Overall the content is quite diverse, mentally challenging & covers almost all the relevant topics of daily maths & logics that would surely help to face IMO or other such exams. Edition: The books edition is 2018 with 2019 print . 4. Paper Quality/Durability: *************************************** The paper quality offered at the given price is pretty decent & by no means fragile. It may not be as smooth & shiny as hardcover editions but for a regular book its pretty good and reasonably ok. No print impressions overlap found on reverse pages as found unfortunately by fellow buyers. 5. Real Life Photos / colored Illustrations: *************************************************** The book makes a clever use of black blue colored print such that the book doesn’t look dull & monotonous with a simple black and white print. The photos and illustrations too are in blue print so it looks very much alive and engaging. I always feel maths books must have some colors to avoid it becoming boring to read. Very reasonable at this price. 6. Price : ***************** The book comes with a price of 190 bucks against printed MRP of 220 which is okay. A further discounted price doesn’t look possible at the given good quality. Pros : ********** As a plus, I would just say it’s a great value for money which rightfully serves its intended purpose of promoting basic understanding of concepts related to mathematics and logical reasoning. Cons . *********** None at this price point. FINAL VERDICT : xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx All in all , I would say I am highly satisfied by the diversified & mentally challenging content of the book for class II kid. Surely Recommended.

It’s is the best book for kids studying in class 1. This is a very nice book 📕. The choice of questions for kids are very nice as kids have to apply mental skills. It is the best book for maths. My kids love it a lot & we have ordered the book for grade 3 as my kids finished the book we had😊

All CBSE class 2nd syllabus is covered. Very good book for maths practice.

After solving this book sections my daughter become fan of mathematics. At her free time she wants to do maths. She picked up the book start solving the questions.

In this book there are no index and no answer sheets are present and seller description pages 112 is given but in this book 94 pages only present
