Good plug, but use a better seal
Well made non-magnetic plug, no issues. Does come with a rubber gasket, but I would recommend adding Dorman 65394 Oil Drain Plug Gasket for Lexus/Scion/Toyota to your order as this has a aluminum core sandwiched between the rubber layers. IMO a much more durable seal. Would have rated a 5 if the included seal was better.

Seems to be good quality and it fit my vehicle perfectly at a fraction of what a dealer or oil change store would charge

Thread Ring plastic & rubber
It's good for the price but the thread made by rubber or plastic, so not too much tighten or it'll crack & leak. Anyway the picture showed misleading on thread....look like rubber cover over metal !!!!

A part that shouldn't be forgotten!
The bolt with the nylon washer was very convenient when I changed the oil on the car. The nylon washer made a great seal and didn't have to try to reuse the old washer and hope it didn't leak. I recommend to always replacing the washer when you change the oil. It keeps the leaks to zero from the drain plug.

i installed this oil pan plug /washer kit on my Toyota Prius i bought used. Plug does'nt rust,im in Canada, its always good to have a spare of this in case !!!!!
