Best wrist guards you can get
Have used these dakine wrist guards for years, unbeatable value. Gives me a lot of comfort when I'm on the slopes. Having just taught my wife to snowboard I wanted to get her a set too. Fitted perfectly over many sets of gloves/MIT's.

Great but tight.
Bought these for snowboarding. Very well made although a little tight. I have small hands (size 7 gloves) I ordered a small and they are extremely snug. Please remember though, you may have to get gloves over them too so don't order them too big.

comfy and supportive
impressed with these for the cost. I wanted to try a set to protect my wrist even though I'm not a beginner and after the initial couple of hours getting used to the restricted movement I got on well with them and would recommend.

Perfect for what I needed
Bought these to use on a snowboarding holiday. Being my first time I knew I'd be falling over a lot and wrist injuries are common. These were very comfortable and easy to put on and gave me confidence that if I fell over I wouldn't hurt my wrists. Very solid but I didn't feel like I was restricted in my movement. Would recommend to anyone

OK, did what they were supposed too.
Did what they were supposed to do, kept my wrists safe, I actually thing they may have saved me a fair bit of pain. There was a bit of rubbing though on the skin between my thumb and index finger which was uncomfortable. The metal did have a tendency to bend too, but I guess this should be expected. with a bit of brute force they can be re-shaped. Just marking it down because of the rubbing. size was true. I have skinny wrists, but i wear medium clothes all the time so went medium. They fit under my gloves fine too and my gloves weren't exactly baggy.

Worthwhile purchase for the slopes
Bought these for my first time snowboarding and highly recommended if you are snowboarding for the first time. The number of times I fell over with hands outstretched, these wrist guards helped protect from what could have been a nasty fracture. Will definitely take them on future trips. These do get a bit sweaty under the gloves which is the only slight drawback. The size charts for these are accurate so check these before you buy, as the size runs tighter than you may think!

Tight
They are tight. I ordered the largest size. I have big hands, but I'm no gorilla. XL should fit me, but these are just a bit uncomfortable. Hoping the stretch with use.

Does protect
Bought it for snowboarding. It does provide a certain protection for the thumb and a wrist. Not 100%, but about 50% I’d say it does. User Must to fit it really tight, otherwise the wrist and thumb is loose. This in return stops blood circulation in your hand. So, was tightening it just before going down a slope and loosening up once at the bottom. That worked a trick. Still managed to straining my thumb, but can’t imagine what it would be without protection
