I’ve been using the SCIGRIP 10315 16 Acrylic Plastic Cement on my 3D prints, and it works like a charm! The low-VOC formula is a huge plus, making it safer and less harsh to use. It sets quickly, which saves me a lot of time during assembly. The medium-bodied consistency gives just the right amount of control without dripping or running. Best of all, it dries clear, leaving a professional, clean finish on my prints. Highly recommend this adhesive for anyone looking for a reliable, fast-setting plastic cement!

Best. Adhesive. Ever. I am building one of the largest Warhammer 40,000 vehicle (and, no, it’s not a puny Baneblade). I am using Sunlu matte grey PLA, and most of the parts are as large as my FlashForge AD5M build plate. I needed a serious adhesive that was guaranteed to weld these pieces together. Let me just say that even after 20 minutes of setting, King Kong could not separate these pieces. This adhesive works wonders on the FlashForge Burnt Titanium PLA, as well as other makers PLA I am using for various grubbing, armaments, crew, cogitators, road wheels, idlers, drive sprockets, and more. You do have a few minutes of working time, but if the adhesive dries before you attach your parts together it is best to sand smooth and re-apply. Once you become accustomed to the almost pancake-syrup consistency, you develop manual methods to control flow to deliver the right amount where you need it. Best advice, never totally upend the tube; you are going to get adhesive everywhere. 15 to 20 degrees from horizontal until it starts to flow is all you need. Ensure that whatever bead you lay down in distant enough from any edges to avoid squeeze out. Keep a dry paper towel nearby to absorb an excess or squeeze out. You never, ever need to squeeze the tube…just don’t. I assemble the model parts over a large silicon hobby mat…easy clean up. In conclusion, if you need to glue two or more PLA parts together and be assured that they will stay together even after being hit by a Mack, truck, this is the adhesive of your dreams

Using this on PLA 3D prints. It's not glue but rather a solvent that basically welds the plastic together since it slightly melts both parts, the melted section then combine and when the solvent evaporates the plastic re-solidifies into 1 piece. This is as strong as you can get for PLA 3D print adhesion. Weld-On is normally water thin, this is a bit thicker so it's easier to use for 3D printed parts, still fairly thin but thicker than the other Weld-On products, it's more like pancake syrup thick. While the part can be handled in like 10 minutes, full strength (full evaporation) will take several hours.

I had made some custom drawer inserts for my wife's silverware drawer. I used 1/8" Lexan and the original glue that I used did not hold up. I had cut the pieces so they interlocked and they were now coming apart. After reading several reviews - some saying that this wouldn't work with Lexan and some saying it would - I decided to give it a try. IT WORKS! Those pieces are now fully integrated and solidly connected - I can lift the whole assembly out of the 17"x23" drawer and they don't wobble or rack at all. This stuff is a little runny, so be sure to have your work surfaces covered so it won't damage them. It gels up and then sets up quite quickly (probably less that a minute) so have your ducks in a row before you start. Also, make sure your surfaces to be joined are VERY clean. I needed to assemble the pieces in place, so I lined the drawer (bottom and sides) with parchment paper to protect the wood surfaces. I then dripped a couple of drops of the clue on the to of the joint so it would run down into the interlocking seams. I used a plain round toothpick to smooth the glue up and down the joint (keep several toothpicks handy). The glue set up quickly and dried clear. Another tip is to have something to prop the tube up glue upright so it doesn't flow out when you set it down as you move from piece to piece. As I mentioned before, the glue gels fairly quickly so I had to repeatedly ream open/clean out the tube tip as the glue coagulated around it. It's not a problem, but it's something to be aware of. I love this stuff and I'll be using it on future Llexan and other plastic projects.
