Reapr Meridius Machete
I have to admit that I was delighted with this blade. The blade is 17 3/4 inches long and finished black. The edge is smoothly beveled and comes out of the package knife sharp. The pattern is half way between a pompeii and mainz shape: there is just a hint of waist but there is a long point. The center of gravity is 2 inches in front of the guard so it feels light and agile in the hand. The grip is plastic but comfortable and sturdy. The 420 stainless is so so for knives, but it seems perfect for a larger rough and tumble blade. The temper seems good and the blade is stiff. The sheath is nylon and has 13 rivets so it is surprisingly well made and secure. The only con is the reposse on the blade which is unnecessary with the long guard. This smells like a lawyer improvement. Compared to the Cold Steel machete I would have to say that the Reapr blade is the better of the two because the stainless would hold up better in wet outdoor conditions and the blade shape comes sharp and would be easier to maintain.

A cool sword, good quality.
It was an impulse purchase as I don't collect swords or knifes. This sword is sharp enough and made well. It has a good balance and sits well in the hand.

Looks bad ass and is sharp......at a great price!
WELL worth the current price of $30.00 + . Sharp and AWESOME looking. Useful ?? NO! Needed? NO! A good defense weapon? MAYBE. IF you make contact with stabbing someone , then yes. Intimidating looks alone will MAYBE prevent a need to use it. But it is not an ideal type of defense weapon...semi heavy, awkward to handle, and difficult to put into action in an effective way. BUT......it still looks pretty BAD ASS! Also, a side note, was featured on Gun World 08/18 cover. Have bought and given away to friends!

Wall ornament 👍
The blade came very sharp. It's very light 🫴 and comfortable to hold ✊️and do eskrima moves with ease🫣.But my only concern is how thin the blade is so thin. I don't know if it can stand an impact 🤔. And the belt loop is a snap on...Why snap on?..see photo.Through my experience from the past Snap on tends get loose in times The Manufacturers should have use stitches and sewed it on. And the 420 stainless steel is NOT designed for swords 🗡 ONLY for knives 🔪. It's too brittle and the blade would not stand an impact like cutting or re-enactment. I should have done my research before purchasing this POC sword ✌️✌️. Now it's just a wall ornament.

Great Design
There was a tiny bend in the side of the blade and the tip however it is the design I was looking for and I plan to use it so its going to get beat up. Perfect for the price of $37.

This thing is intimidating
You know how you look at things online and they look really good but you get them home and you think, wow, this looked better in the pictures. Not this. It's intimidating. It is sharp, sturdy, heavy and dangerous. We love it. We bought two. Just a suggestion: don't let the kids play with it. It is NOT a toy. It is a true weapon and should be respected as such.

VERY SHARP AND POINTY
This is a cool looking cheap sword that is VERY SHARP! Fun to use for landscaping chores. Tip is sharp but bends easily on hard wood. Best for soft targets.

Very thin blade. Sheath falls off your belt just from walking.
Blade seems to hold up to cutting branches but the belt sheath falls off just from walking. Needs better fasteners, snap on buttons are too weak.
