Unlike chemical sunscreens, our mineral-based sunscreen DOES NOT absorb into the skin or bloodstream. Our sunscreen sits on top of the skin, acting as a physical barrier and scattering and reflecting UVA and UVB rays.

Is this sunscreen coral reef safe?

Yes! California Baby sunscreens are reef safe. Our mineral-based active ingredient, Titanium Dioxide, does not damage marine life.

What is your allergy statement?

This product is free of gluten, soy, oat, sesame, dairy, and nut ingredients (except coconut). Because we make our own products there is no risk of cross-contamination involving tree nuts, peanut, egg, milk, soy, wheat, pea, or nightshades.
