Where can i find access to the design suite? there was nothing in the box except the board.

The software is not included with the board since Xilinx offers it as a free download on their website. You will need to do a web search for "Xilinx Vivado free WebPACK download" and then you should be able to download the software directly from Xilinx.

Can the vivado design suite be used on mac books? thanks!

Unfortunately, Xilinx (the creator of the Vivado Design Suite) does not offer a version that is compatible with Mac OS. You would need to use a compatible Windows or Linux OS to use the Vivado Design Suite.

Does this come with the Vivado Design Suite?

It does not come with the paid version of the Design Suite, but I was able to use the free Webpack version of the software and add the Basys 3 board files by following the instructions on their website: https://reference.digilentinc.com/reference/software/vivado/board-files?redirect=1
