I figured this was a good option since it has the selectable polarity switch
I bought this pedal to use with my Monoprice Studio Subwoofer as a bypass switch. Plugged right in and worked exactly as expected. I wanted something that was small and unobtrusive, that could sit on the floor under my mix desk and not be in the way. Also, I figured this was a good option since it has the selectable polarity switch, I could use it for other purposes in the future if the need ever arises.

No need to buy expensive momentary foot switches
Do not waste money on buying a Hammond brand effects pedal. They are $50 bucks and don't last any longer than any of the cheaper brands. I got tired of paying $50 every 2 months to buy a new momentary switch pedal. So I bought 6 pedals, all different brands, and tried them all. All of them were superior to the Hammond. The Quick-lok was cheaper than most and functioned justg as good. Honest.

Works as advertised, can be set for either normally open or normally closed.
Arrived promptly. Well packaged. Simple and durable. Only difficulty I had was interpreting the switch positioning; schematic unclear. Ended up using ohm-meter and marking switch positions with a sharpie "N.O. and "N.C." (normally open - normally closed). The cable, plug and foot-switch are good quality.

NOISY!!
Yes it sustains the notes but the clanking with every single touch was so annoying I threw it away.

Total Cheap Crap!
Used it for 3 minutes before it stopped working - Opened the 2nd one and same thing - Lasted for less than 5 min and stopped working.
