Originally when I purchased this & installed it I didn’t take the necessary time to prep the gun. After speaking to a painter who’s been using the same contractor gun for 9 years: I’ve had great success with this part. I cleaned the guts out of the gun this time with lacquer thinner. Rinsed several times. Applied pump lube to the o-rings on the new needle & installed it. The first replacement needle lasted about 60 gallons spraying solvent finishes & latex. After properly installing this most recent needle: I’m over 150 gallons in. First project I used it on required around 40 gallons of shellac & oil.... Just finished a 80 gallon latex exterior project...no spits throughout either job. Quite frankly a clean shot valve is only necessary if you are worried spraying trim/doors/cabinets or are trying to get through a job with a spitting needle. Don’t replace the gun! All you need is this. Oh & the fancy new PC gun is a joke. Stick with the original unless you prefer plastic parts over metal.

Be careful with insulation! Press the trigger when installing to avoid accidental scratching of the needle

it fit and works great it may be high in price but my gun is back to normal I had got a couple cheaper ones look like they would work but nope

Arrived on time fit great haven't used it yet that's why only 4 stars looks a great factory replacement tho.

Ik heb het zelf vervangen. Voordat als je de nieuwe onderdeel zou monteren, moet je de spuitpistool van binnen goed reinigen.

llego super rapido aun limpiare la pistola pero concuerda con boquillas (mariposas) RAC X y V asi como las extenciones(flechas) esperare a colocarlo pero creo que si funcionara
